@Montecristo I have the one on the right. I tried it with the churchwarden stem but only smoke it with the shorter stem now. I actually won the pipe from This Pipe Life back when they were allowed to give away pipes.
It looks like it’s missing some sort of external sleeve, maybe a “water jacket”? With a name like “Joe Bud”…it’s a weed pipe. The more I look at it, I think it is missing a part. O-Rings on the external metal ribs the same diameter as the shoulder cut in the top of the wood base….missing a sleeve/attachment of some sort🤔
<< …. a beautifully curated collection of estate Charatan pipes collected over three decades. Here are some examples that we have restored that are available for purchase. We will release more for sale once their restoration is complete.
Charatan Pipes was the undisputed premier British pipe maker for over one hundred years and this collection from the 60's, 70's & 80's is a remarkable find.>>
Haven't heard from @ghostsofpompeii for a while, and understandably so. But I took a couple of pics of pipes from the LV show that I thought he might be interested in: I know I know, I ended a sentence with a preposition... So shoot me.🙄

I'm calling that one UGLY.
I must disagree with @PappyJoe. That pipe isn't UGLY, it's BUTT UGLY.
The Yeti stummel looks like it is headed towards something beautiful though? Go Montana!
The Yeti lives here in Billings now. I have yet to meet him.🙁
Tempting, especially the one in the middle!

Another weed pipe?
Looks like a gavel with a rupture.?.?
😬
Methinks thou art overthinking it.
Probably.
Still a weed pipe, metal bowl…weed pipe, glass bowl weed pipe…or worse😬. Porcelain is riding the fence, nah….weed pipe.🙂
I like the looks of that pipe.
The above pipe, IMHO, is a prime example...

This is the one I'm interested in.
He does some nice looking work. That billiard, tamper, and magnetic pipe stand, dead center of that picture, are awesome.
