@RockyMountainBriar I have seen some of his pipes that were fairly standard shapes but these were more like Danish freehands. I thought the one I chose was distinctive.
@motie2 I like the ones with the finned aluminum encased briar bowls too. They go for big bucks as well. I can’t recall the brand offhand. There is a nice one on EBay now.
@motie2 Ya, I think Landusi is trying to use up all of the flawed briar that has been collecting at Peterson over the years. From a business standpoint, it’s better than throwing them in the furnace.
@motie2 I have to say, as much as I dislike most briar pipes with designs carved/sandblasted in them, that last pipe is not completely awful. I’d let myself be seen smoking it🙂

I have a dog and he'll eat anything! Looks like they were dipped in chocolate, if so not for dogs!
