Having a spot of tea and a pipe of something? I really need to drop a little label in my pocket jars🤔. I’m pretty sure it’s my own tobacco crop from 2016 by the cut, but dang this stuff is actually pretty good…..so I’m not 100% sure. If it is, age has made a big difference. It’s like real tobacco🙂. The pipe is a Zest, and the tea is Rooibos.
Probably the last day of golf for a while between future rain and/or very cold temps in the forecast. At least we all got a round in today... Now doing some Sutliff Dulce de Leche in a reworked and restemmed noname churchwarden...
Enjoying a bowl of Frankenblend in a Christiano Metamorfosi after a late breakfast here in Vegas while visiting our son and his wife. Happy Thanksgiving all...
Happy Thanksgiving, all! I'm enjoying some HH Mac Baren Bold Kentucky. Oh yeah, and that's a single barrel bourbon from Nevada HBC Distilling Co and an American Double IPA from Tree House Brewing, Charlton, MA sharing the stage. Cheers!
Beautiful morning here in Vegas! Enjoying some Frankenblend (1/3 BCA), in a reworked "semi-nosewarmer" noname while enjoying a good strong cup of java...
Well, back from Vegas after a great Thanksgiving week with my son and daughterinlaw. Decided to kickoff Christmas season with phase one... my hat. Later this week I'll probably start using my Christmas blends and Santa meer... For now, I'm enjoying some Tinderbox After Dinner in a restemmed Emperor Supreme.
OK. I'm going in full blast for Christmas season pipe smoking. I know I'm not confined to smoking my Santa meer only during the Christmas season, but for me, it helps me enjoy this time of year a touch more and make it a little more special. You guys will get tired of my Santa meer before Christmas is over, so I'm asking in advance to have patience with me while I enjoy my seasonal pipe. I wanted to start it off in style, so I'm combining it with some C&D Jolly Old St Nicholas...
Tonight it’s a (what use to be, before I stirred it) “Baby Guinness”, paired with some SG “Gorusemoor” in my Pete shape 03 Rua Deluxe 1898-2023 #191/200.
Great looking pipe @RockyMountainBriar I don't think I'd even need tobacco with that one. Between holding it, looking at it and clenching it from time to time, I'd be very happy... 😏
Managed to get in 18 holes earlier today before the cold snap hits. Enjoying some Sunset Rum in my, you guessed it, Santa meer. I'll say this much for meerschaum, you don't have to concern yourself with drying out waiting periods between smokes. You can reload and go as many times as you want and not have to worry about "resting" the pipe. Although I do give the pipe a cleaning after usually one, but no more than 2 bowls. If they didn't require a bit of careful handling, they would be the perfect travel pipe... 🤔
