Mmm, McDonald’s. I hope they don’t actually go through with F’in up their burgers by putting onions inside the patty’s. That would piss me off. I won’t have anywhere to go to get a “cheap” fast food burger anymore.

Sonic might work, but there is only one and it’s way the hell across town, and no indoor seating (I don’t eat in my vehicles). Mooya just plain SUCKS! FiveGuys just plain SUCKS! The Burger Dive, downtown with crappy parking SUCKS! Fuddrucker’s makes a good burger, but it’s not exactly cheap or fast. King’s Hat Flying Burger just plain SUCKS!, and it does not have indoor seating. I just had Buffalo Wild Wings (6) Nashville Hot and (6) Original Buffalo wings, now I’m hungry again and want some beef! Dammit!
I think this is from the mid 60’s-early 70’s. It’s got a few parts missing and the paint/decals are thrashed, but it still works like it did back in the day. Just like back in the day, not too efficient, when I had it plugged in in my shop, and had a few pops and beers in it….my electric bill for the month doubled😳….yes, I said doubled😳 I have not had it plugged in in awhile.
@Londy3; If memory serves, it was about the color of and consistency of contact cement. but It wasn't nearly as effective. Help me out @KA9FFJ, how would you describe it?
Don’t know what the red thing with buttons is…unless it’s like a “Simon” thing. If so, don’t get it around me, I would just as soon use it to pound rocks.
Mmmm, TV dinners. Some were/are ok, I just need to eat about five of them to satiate my hunger these days, they are so small now.
@Londy3; I will be having a TV Dinner tonight. My Bride is having supper with some fellow retired Bus Drivers. They aren't so bad, especially for those of us that can't cook. Sad, but true.
I just group them all into the category of "frozen dinner"...e.g., pizza, whole meals, entrees, etc.
Some them are pretty damn good. My wife and I do this sort of thing when we're gone all day and get home late and don't feel like cooking. Nothing easier than throwing a little extra cheese and pepperoni on a frozen DiGiorno with a bowl salad or something.
Or when we overnight at a campground on the way to some final destination, we don't unhook the camper and its usually somewhat late...perfect to throw a frozen dinner of some sort in the micro with a couple of bags of Green Giant frozen veggies and a couple of beers. Granted, not home cooking but these days with the packaging and such, still pretty darn good and very easy with hardly no cleanup.
That's probably why an entire aisle or two in the frozen section of the supermarket is dedicated to them.
