@PappyJoe, @ghostsofpompeii, @vtgrad2003; You all raise valid points and concerns. I must confess that there are times and posts by fellow brothers that I don't open or read, once I see where the comment is going. I do a similar thing with the TV, which I've almost worn out my remote.
It is truly a shame that we ever got here, that said, there is a dearth of civility these days and it seems many feel their comments are justified under any circumstance. Think of all the ignorant who adhere to their beliefs like religious fundamentalists; you can logically explain real truths but never achieve any real enlightenment.
My point is that more often than not it's an attempt in futility. Or as Ron White so prophetically said "you can't fix stupid".
So at the end of the day you are left with just two choices, you can choose to ignore them or you can push back and wait for them to hypocritically cry and say it's unfair.

@vtgrad2003@opipeman I don't have a Firestick but I do have an Apple TV. We watch a lot of shows on BBC and AcornTV that are more entertaining and less violent than shows made by Hollywood. Just good solid dramas and detective shows without the car chases, violence and gratuitous sex.
Everyone is being affected by the extreme changes taking place in the world. It's getting worse by the day. Everyone is tense and angry in the world. I think emotions are running high because most people actually care about others and our country and want to protect what they once new and believed in.
All of us come here on the forum to unwind, let go of the world's madness, be with others like us to relax and enjoy a pipe and hobby.
We all have more in common than you think. Let's continue to support each other and be a group that people respect and want to join. We've done it before, let's do it again.
This should make everyone laugh, @vtgrad2003 and @Balisong when I was teaching fine art at one of the local colleges, I came up with a grading system based on the game "Plinko" from the price is right. Attendance would not be mandatory, however Plinko chips would be given out to students randomly. At the end of the semester the students could use the Plinko chips on a giant Plinko board covered in various grades, or opt to take a more traditional grade for the price of one chip. Having never attained tenure, I was never able to put my master plan into reality. Perhaps one day, until then if anyone wants to use my grading system please forward me the results. 😂
@Zouave That sounds like something an economist would come up with! It sounds like what you employed was a very smart reality version of Game Theory...nice work! Too bad you couldn't see it through though, the results would have been very interesting.

Didn't Hawaii pass a similar law. Ernie over at Watch City Cigars predicts within 10 years either Mass or Cali will be the first state to ban tobacco out right.
