@RockyMountainBriar Just an FYI, you're not alone in not being able to find canning jars, in August - September my usual canning season I struggled to find any around Chicago area, ended up ordering them on line.
Seems to be a supply chain problem due to covid 19
@PappyJoe It looks as though that shot of bourbon has made your day. Sometimes I wish I was retired and could have some bourbon in my coffee in the morning on a weekday I just have to "cowboy up" and wait for the weekend for mine, at least for awhile longer
So, as I continue to look for new blends to add to the cellar and I had just tried GLP Abingdon and it was ok,but nothing to write home about.
This morning I cracked a tin of GLP Kensington for the first time before heading to work and; oh baby, this was really good, it an English with but a bit less Latikia with a little more oriental and a fantastic Virginia base.
Fanfilppentastic, smoked in a brushed black stanwell 246. Very similar blend to Drucqure & Sons Trafalgar
On my way earlier this morning to an estate sale that shows promise. To and from I'm doing some Tinderbox Honey Cavendish in one of my go-to MM Cobs...
Boswell Best today, along with RLP-6. Found out about my order from P&C yesterday, the dam thing was mysteriously canceled. The receptionist had know idea how it happened, nor do I. I guess in the grand scheme of things it’s not a big deal, just a delay.
