Oh, man, @pipeman83, Escudo! I smoked it when it was Cope's Escudo. Surely, the gold standard in VaPers. There's other blends that come close (Navy Rolls, Elizabethan Mixture) but Escudo is the one.
Need to do a proper review of Sutliff Peach Cobbler ... one that is not so complimentary. I think I may give up looking for fruit flavored tobaccos altogether. None seem to capture the true essence of the fruit it's suppose to represent.
I was starting to get a bit worried. I was going through several favorite aromatics and not getting as much enjoyment out of them, something similar to what Motie was experiencing with Vanilla Custard recently. Then last night I returned to one of the Russ Monthly blends "Candy Corn" and it smoked and taste wonderful and my old taste buds were seemingly revived. An hour or two later while watching the hurricane coverage I selected one of the blends that seemed to lose their luster to give it another shot and it taste wonderful once more. So maybe it has a lot to do with what you've eaten before smoking or what you happen to be drinking with your smoke that changes the flavor drastically. I've also been experiencing hay fever and sinus trouble lately so that might have more to do with it than anything else. Hope I'm back to normal because I have a cellar full of aromatics that I can't afford to have developed an aversion to.
