Long day today. My brother in laws sister died and the funeral was today. His wife (my sister) passed last year so we picked him up and took him to the funeral and grave site today. He also has early/medium stage dementia, so it can be a little akward at times. We finally got back home, had a late supper and now relaxing with some Sunset Rum in a restemmed Knute freehand I acquired about 55 years ago...
Times up! Let's do this thing! LEEEEE-ROOOY JENKINS!!!!
The seal held and tobacco was not dry. 40+ years mellowed it out and no
bite at all. There is a nice sweetness to it. Latakia, what little was
in the blend, is way in the back but memories of Syrian days haunt me.
There a mellow nuttiness that playing second fiddle to the very mature
Virginia and Cavendish. Quite enjoyable actually.
I should add that I have never tried Plum cake before and read that a fresh tin is hotter than the sun unless you sip it.
Smoking some G.L. Pease “Windjammer” from January ‘21’ in a little vintage Savinelli Extra 1005 billiard this evening. I didn’t want a long after dinner smoke.
@AceFour Well, I thought the Leeeroooy Jenkin’s was from an EQ reference. Sooo, if it is not connected to that, where did you get that expression, if you don’t mind me asking?
@AceFour Yep, that’s the one…all these years since I first saw it, I thought it was “EverQuest” which is pretty much exactly the same gameplay with different graphics. ”At least I have chicken”😂😂😂😂
I just got back from a walk down by the river with my brother and his dogs. We smoked a couple of my HC Gran Limitado cigars on our sojourn. He gave me a Cuban Cohiba he brought that a friend had given him. They were a little dry, it goes in my humidor to rehydrate for awhile.
@PappyJoe No sir, I have not and do not play WOW. I use to play the older MMORPG “EverQuest” and later “EverQuest II”. EQII debuted at about the same time as WOW..2004 maybe? EQ debuted in 1999 and I started playing around that time. I have logged in to both EQ and EQII off and on, but the gameplay has changed so much that I can no longer play effectively. Also, the bastards changed some of my character’s names by putting x’s fore and aft, probably after a server change that I missed since I hadn’t played for years. EQII is still loaded on my computer and I occasionally log in to take a look around for a few minutes. I’m not getting caught in its web again. Currently I only play “World of Tanks” (free to play) for about four hours a week, mostly so I can chat/BS with my longtime friend that is in Tennessee. Whom also use to play EQ and EQII.
Oops, I just took a quick look at the Cuban cigar when my brother handed it to me…I have “old balls” and don’t see so good up close😬. Anyway….It’s actually a Cuban Guantanamera 20 Aniversario cigar. It’s a machine made Corona 41 x 5 3/4” with a pre-cut head.

A comfortable foggy morning! Starting off with GLP Abingdon in a bent Apple Diplomat along with a cup of Ethiopian Yirgacheffe coffee.
There is nothing to compare to a foggy morning, a pipe, and a hot cup of coffee.

”Everquest”?
Great pipe!
Cult BRM *ptooey* 😖
Somebody’s got to smoke it🙂
My condolences. That freehand is very nice.
What an adventure.
Nice work on that pipe.

Ok, I had to Google it… All this time I thought it was an “EQ” dungeon, not “WoW”….silly me.
It’s still some funny $#!+😂
Leeroy Jenkins is a player character created by Ben Schulz in Blizzard Entertainment's MMORPG World of Warcraft.

You guys play WOW?
