Breaking in my new Kaywoodie Ruf-Tone bent billiard with some Sutliff Krumble Kake Orchard Mist,@motie2, good stuff,@Londy3, I was at JoVann’s in Mayfield, I stop there after work on Wednesday.
Not quite yet, but very soon. I have ALWAYS loved Anisette and Licorice. I have tried all the aromatics that I could find to no satisfaction.
Some weeks ago while in a small cigar shop in town, I came upon small Anisette flavored cigars by Avanti. I have smoked two so far and they have a very strong Anisette flavor which made me happy. I had smoked a bowl of EITC Royal Challenge earlier today. Sitting at my computer here I could smell the aroma of the Anisette cigars several feet away. I stated thinking (which I can do sometimes to success) and grabbed one and chopped it up rather crudely and loaded it into an old no name briar (just in case). I have to admit the dry draw is amazing, albeit pretty strong. I am going to allow it to sit awhile and take if for a rest drive later today. Wish me luck. (BTW) I also bought a similar box of Bourbon flavored which I might also try in a pipe.
I used to hang out in some of the Italian sections of Boston and surrounding cities. The older men would frequently dip the tip of their stogies in their shot of anisette. You can always spray some on your favorite non aromatic blend.
Smoked some Captain Black “Royal” in the Tsuge Spider Churchill last night while on the computer. This morning with some coffee, I am giving the C&D Smoking Pipes 20th Anni. XX Flake another try. This time in a Peterson Natural Amber Spigot 120. After my disappointing experience with this tobacco the other day, see “How to prevent pipe burnouts.”…or not. Wish me luck. If I burn it out, I’ll have to chastise myself severely🤨😤😭🥺
Good news, I “Avoided Pipe Burn Out” in my 120 yesterday, no worries👍🏻 This morning before breakfast, I’m smoking some C&D “Espresso” in a Peterson “Founders Edition”. I need to pull an espresso to go with it🙂
Beautiful day again here in NC. Saaamoookin some Peter Stokkebye luxury English in an old Graybow along with some Pernicious while jamming to a little Robert Plant
@motie2 I love my double wall glassware. The picture might have been deceiving. This particular one is a 3oz. demitasse. Great for espresso, not so much for a latte🙂 I have not procured a larger one yet🙂. I’m thinking about an Ember mug…the only two things that are keeping be from getting one is the cost and common sense. Common sense may be losing😉
@Balisong Ha ha, thanks! That one is a personal charcuterie board with wine 🍷 glass holder 😁 Each person can create their own and it's easy to walk around with a glass, munch, mingle and sip at our small gatherings.

How is that blend?
Sounds good. I'm sure you made a mean dinner!
Last night, a little LL7
Looks like you're at a cigar shop. Which one?
“Why so serious?”
Dude, smile!

Hey, we have the same borosilicate class coffee mugs. They are different from all our other mugs — a lifetime’s worth — but I love them.

I puchased two 8oz mugs of borosilicate on Amazon for eight bucks
A little after dinner pipe. A freehand filled with LL7 which pairs well with Italian red.
The wife and I are jealous of your charcuterie!
I'm finishing a tin of Pease Westminster in an MM Rob Roy. I have the tobacco bar down to eight open tins/jars, aiming for six!

Here is the main charcuterie board we use:
