Welcome to New Hampshire! I'm in the south east corner of the State and the weather hasn't been pipe friendly for last couple of weeks. Enjoy the view, there's another great peak further north in Dixville Notch. It's an easier climb with a great panorama at the summit.
Magnum Opus in my second ever EA Carey, an apple. I lost the first, a billiard, at camp. Heartbroken, I had to send another $15.00. Yep, that’s what Carey’s cost in the summer of 1969.
@Balisong this is a beautiful state. Right now I'm down in Portsmouth. Been able to get the pipe going back at the house. Let me know if there are any good pipe shops around!
I decided to break in another new pipe tonight that I have had for several years. A pipe is not a pipe until you smoke it…at least that is my mantra. I’m smoking some Vauen “Himalaya Blend No.9” with a generous pinch of Gawith Hoggarth “Kendal Black Cherry” added in….just because. The pipe is a 2014 American Smoking Pipe Company Bengal 2-Star I bought from the maker, Mark Tinsky right here in Montana.
The last pipe tobacconist closed almost two years ago. If you're into brew pubs there's one downtown, Portsmouth Brewery,, and at Pease Cisco, formerly Redhook Brewery. Less than an hour away in downtown Boston is L. J. Peretti, a great blender and purveyor of pipes, and from there Leavitt and Pearce in Harvard Square.
I'm less than half an hour from Portsmouth and always have an extra chair in the shade or by the tiki torches if you would like to stop by. My tobacco cellar has more variety than most tobacco shops!
An almost pipe club meeting! Was supposed to meet up with three old members of the NOLA pipe club, but two guys couldn’t make it. Then a new club member appeared. We stayed 3 or 4 feet apart except for the photo.
I started yapping about Magnum Opus over in the Online Sales folder, so I found myself lusting for a bowl. Out on the rear deck with a EA Carey full bent freehand. This really is an exceptional example of Russ Ouellette’s blending prowess.
Wife doing some power shopping at Tanger Mall here in Branson. While she spends money, I'm enjoying some C&D Strawberry Cavendish in a Mr Brog Maestro #81...

I have a couple/few more from ASPC as well, at least one, maybe two carved by Curt Rollar.
Dang, now I want some Beacon.
Why, yes, I am.
Live until 120!
(A traditional blessing; Moses lived to 120 years.)
