Started with a bowl Exotic Orange (from before it was renamed Exotic Passion) in my Ascorti Business KS. Purchased and jarred in 2018, it still has the same honey sweetened orange flavor that made this one of my favorite aromatics.
I followed that with a bowl of Kramer's Extra Smooth from a 2019 jar that I was gifted. I smoked this in my Peterson Fermoy 80s.
Continuing to break in a new pipe with Country Squire's Figgy Pudding from last Christmas. Need the extra humectant to help cake the bowl a bit. So far, so good.
8th straight night of poker . . . had a beat down yesterday. Still down since Monday but still up on the 8 days.
Burned the 2009 tin of Blackjack. It was slightly sweeter than the 2 year old tin. It was good but I don't think it is worth paying consignment prices. Doesn't change dramatically with age. Burned some 2000 crop of Red Ribbon and also some Dark Star.
Had Sutliff Vanilla Maple today. First time for me, pretty good blend, I would say it’s an all day blend, and maybe a good mixer with stronger Maple blend. Beyond that a nice blend.
Tonight I’m smoking a Brigham Sportsman bent billiard my podcast partner up in Canada traded to me. If they’re all like this one, I’ll have to pick up more! It matched well with C&D’s Poplar Camp.
I finished a pipe of Person Standard Mixture on the way to the Post Office to pick up chicks that arrived a day early, that's baby chickens @vtgrad2003, 40 of them! Finishing coffee with Peretti's Boston's Best Cavendish before moving them to their new home.
@Balisong Yeah, right, don't con us...you went to pick up chicks at the Post Office, period! 40 of 'em though...you'd better start buying your Viagra in bulk from Sam's Club!
Just back from a 4 day mini vacation at Branson/Silver Dollar City with my 2 grandkids = no pipe. Rolled in this afternoon and planning on some Lane LL7 in a Peterson Emerald...
Smoking some Scotty's Trout Stream in one of my Corey pipes while binge watching "The Walking Dead". Starting all the way back to Season One and working through to Season Ten. At the moment I'm finishing up Season Three.
Thinking about my dad, whom I lost 30 years ago. Smoking his favorite - Paladin Black Cherry in one of his pipes (Medico Crest). Not a big fan of the taste, but the room note is awesome! CHeap pipes and cheap tobacco!

Started with a bowl of Kramer's Extra Smooth in my 1926 Dunhill Bruyere Innertube.

My THEORY is that smoking a non-aromatic first works as a palate cleaner and makes the flavor in an aromatic blend really pop.

Here's a real cutie!
