Good choice on that tobacco Marine.......GREAT stuff. I just smoked a bowl Sunday. As I have commented previously, Christmas is in the heart. Semper fi.
Smoking some Newminster #23 “Blackberry Brandy” in a Savinelli New Art 114KS. I’m also imbibing some Mr. Boston “Blackberry Flavored Brandy”, which happens to be the first liquor I remember my dad letting me have a little swallow of......at about 12 years old. Ahh, the good old days🤫. Oh, that’s a 60+ year old shotglass from Buff’s Bar in Forsyth, Montana, it was my dad’s stomping ground...and mine until I was 5-6 years old🙂. I work on gaming machines here in Billings and the owner of Buff’s Bar dropped in to get some ticket paper just yesterday. Forsyth is 100 miles east of Billings.
Broke out a jar of Night Cap that's 7 years old, haven't had any in several years, in a new Molina Barasso Smooth 105 Tobacco Pipe I picked up during the Tobacco Pipes IPSD sale.
Night Cap has about the maximum amount of perique I can tolerate, which is why I don't smoke it very often.
At this rate the 1/2 pound I have left should last until I've transitioned to fertilizer.
Doing some "Frankenblend" in Masterson freehand. This is about the 7th time I've delved into this jar and I must say, I've never been disappointed. Of course, I've never professed to be a connoisseur, even in the early years at TPL when they told me I was...😏
PS 41 Cube Cut (burley & red virginia) in my Marxman straight pot. Very nice, mellow burley blend (to enjoy while enduring death-by-PowerPoint during an online briefing). Hooah!!
I was going to go the VA route as well, but I did not want to run 1 1/2 hours away. Ended up locally (Atlantic City) where the NJ Air National Guard ran the show, and they did an outstanding job. It ran like clockwork. I got a lot of very good natured b*^l busting as I wore a Navy hat as I always do. Even though I was greatly outnumbered I am pretty sure I won that skirmish.
I just loaded this little Pete with some G.L. Pease “Triple Play” gifted to me by a fellow piper. The sealed tin was in his cellar since July of 2012, the tin was swollen from what was going on inside. When I popped the tin, a wonderful aroma of sweet fruit, dark plum, wafted from the tin, awesome. There were some large loose leaf bits nestled around the plug. I ran them through my manual tobacco shredder (pasta machine) to cut them into pipe packable ribbons. Awesome smoke! Tasty😋
Enjoying some Lancer's Slices in an MM Pride after enjoying two bowls of goose chili that the wife made in the Instant Pot I gave her for Valentine's day. Gotta love gifts that give back!

Glorious!

Connoisseur? Back in the 1950’s, my father, of blessed memory, would call me a “common sewer.”
Now THAT'S funny!
Did some Lane 1Q in an Emerald MM cob there and back...

@PappyJoe
(Not to mention your lid)😁
Dapper.......
Strange co-inky-dink..... SWMBO and I made turkey chili for dinner that evening.
The bird is the word.....
You do know that the words turkey (or goose) and chili do not go together?
Yes, Sir. I do. I should have put it as "chili."
I also know that con carne does not mean with beans.
As far as it goes, chili per se comes in two varieties: meat and no meat
Under meat, I believe one finds pork and beef (and the admittedly debatable biblical version - venison).
Smoking some lovely Magnum Opus.
Waiting for a P&C shipment of Barbados Plantation; in my deep dive into Balkans I ran out of BP.
@PappyJoe, would chili con ganso work?
A goose by any other name is still a fowl addition to chili.
