Had some VBC in my Stanwell today. Let me ask a question, I’ve noticed on P&C, there seems to be a move toward buying bulk,( not the 2,4,6, type bulk) but much bigger. For instance Scotty Trout Stream,, only in the bigger bulk. Have I read this wrong wrong, anybody?
Not smoking anything today. Made it from before Thanksgiving to Christmas Day without getting Covid, the flu or a cold. December 26, I wake up with my sinuses draining, got a little better and had a pipe of HU Winter Time and Newmister Imperial Nougat.
Woke up this morning and now it's moved down into my throat, so I'm not smoking anything for another day or two.
After a long 10 hour drive Im back home with a little LL7 in my new mini MM cob for this corn cob Tuesday along with some bulleit bourbon to help me chill. Nice to be home.
Smoking some GLP Kensington in a smooth Stanwell #15
My wife always buys a Christmas ornament for each person in our family, each year.
Usually she buys something that reflects the persons interests; so for years I have been receiving hunting or fishing ornaments which has been great as she finds really interesting ones.
This year however she shifted gears on me and I think its because of TPL and the fact I have remarked about Santa becoming politically correct with no pipe.
So she found someone selling antique ornaments and got me this one.
@motie2, thank you for the response, I just ordered a couple of ounces of VBC. No problem so far The reason I mentioned Trout Stream was because I was going to order some. And their are a few more, I was just wondering if this is becoming a trend.
My wife and I have the same tradition of buying a new ornament for everyone in the family each year. I have a couple of Santa smoking a pipe ornaments, but not that one. As politically correct as the world has gotten, I still see Santa with pipe ornaments for sale in some stores.
After a miraculous recover from the crud, I am having some Newminster Imperial Nougat in my Cutty and a dram of Kilbarin Irish Whiskey. I trimmed the beard for the start of 2021.
Trying to sleet/snow here as I post this. Doing some Stokkebye 24 Nougat in my @Corey562 squashed tomato. As most of you know, it was the tobacco used during the making of the LOTR trilogy, hence the pic. Not sure if this blend was used during the Hobbit as well, I can only assume it was. Anybody know for sure?
Earlier this afternoon I smoked some Russ's Chocolate Covered Espresso Bean in a MM Cob. It was cold and windy, so the 'situation" was less than wonderful. The smoke was OK, I never got the flavors or Aromas that are imolied by the name. It is slightyly sweet, no bite, but does not live up to its' name in flavors.
Happy New Year everyone! Figured a special occasion deserved a special pipe. C&D’s Stovepipe in my gourd calabash pipe. May your 2021 be a great one friends!
Finished taking down almost all my outside Christmas lights and decorations today. So I figured I'd do some Sutliff Christmas Spice in my FE.RO Certezza.
Had eldest son and his wife over for brunch on the rear deck. Temp 50 degrees. Enjoyed a bowl of Magnum Opus (Balkan blend with Perique). No cmplaints .... to my surprise. A Latakia containing blend with a tolerable room note?
Aye Lads, Happy New Year Mates! "avin a bowl o Mr.Orliks Golden Slices in me Peterson Disappointment Racing Green #69... Disappointment due t the fact that the colour be disappearin n Peterson will dunnae hear 'boot it... fortunatly she smokes good...

Dunno, as the VBC remains available in all quantities. Or am I missing something?

Nice to be home.
I approve of that ornament.
