@mfresa that’s exactly what i did with McClelland 40th anniversary. Tried it once, then put it back for about 8 months now. I’ll revisit it soon enough
A bit off topic, but has anyone heard from @ocpunk714 in a while? He was pretty constant on here but hasn’t been on much. I know he has some personal issues which he has voiced on the forums at times. Just want to check on him.
And i I recently picked up some Escudo, so I think I’ll have a bowl today while I call an old friend.
@ChaplainCorey I think he had mentioned that he was going to be busy with music/recording/band and would not be here as often. It sounded like things were going well though. If I am correct/incorrect about this information, others, please chime in one way or the other.
Smoking some “I don’t know for sure” to break in my new Radice. The tobacco was in one of my pouches and I forgot what it was. It is an aromatic. Pretty sure it is my old standby Lane RLP-6. It was the perfect moisture after drying out some in the latex lined tobacco pouch👍🏻 It’s good to be the king (of the house)😀
This is a kick back day. I am sitting with my feet up smoking Gaslight in a filthy apple from earlier. I was too lazy to clean it prior to using, but it tastes fine.
There is simply no reason not to have Escudo Navy De Luxe in your rotation if not at least at hand when it moves you. Enjoying some right now in my Peterson sitter.
Today I enjoyed some Popular Camp from when C&D submitted this blend for the Virginia Blend contest at the Chicago PIpe Show a few years ago. I used my Christian Pipe Smoker's 2016 Pipe of the Year. It was from Dr Graybow. They wanted a pipe that everyone could afford.
It was in the teens two days ago, so we still had some snow on the ground. It was much warmer now. It was an enjoyable smoke, after replacing my battery. I didn't know that a battery could freeze if it was fully drained. Glad the battery was only a couple months old, so they replaced it on warranty.
@RockyMountainBriar, I’m not really sure. I got it at a local shop in va about 10-12 years ago. But man it’s beautiful, definitely the best looking pipe I own. And @jim102864, I totally agree on the Escudo. Superb

A final pipe before bed: GLP Stonehenge Flake in my Patriot Cob. A nice Lakeland to end the evening.
