@Londy3 Man, that is a spectacular place by the ocean you have there, sir! You look like you're in heaven. I'm about to go on vacation. My wife and I rented a cottage on the coast of Rhode Island. I'll post my own "heaven" pictures during my visit. Enjoy, bro!
Smoked some vintage 1930s Granger in my 1950 Middleton bulldog this morning before heading of to work. The tax stamp has a date of 1937 so this can is 81-yrs old. While I can only imagine what it tasted like in it's day, this tobacco is still a decent smoke, drier then if it were brand new but is still somewhat moist.
Went with my favorite Aro...TCS Second Breakfast. I will probably smoke in intervals of 5 minutes at a time today. Lol.
@jim102864 Nice! I saw your post and think I might get some off The Pipe Nook. There should be some tins left, so I will proceed on your recommendation fairly soon. Thanks!
Finishing the day with half Paladin Black Cherry and half Black Cavendish in my trusty MM Cob. The Paladin for me tends to threaten tongue bite, whereas by adding an equal blend of Black Cavendish, it has calmed it down. Very enjoyable since it also maintains that cherry flavor and aroma...
Changed my mind a bit about P.S. Black Coffee,, the more I smoked the less I liked it. Kind of bitter, which I should not be surprised because I consider black coffee bitter,(no offense black coffee drinkers). So I added Sutliff Pumpkin Spice to it and it changed the whole dynamic of the blend.
Had some Presbyterian in my cob earlier. Now its 97 deg so am opting for an Aging Room Puro that's been in my humidor for about a year and a half. I know it's a cigar. Don't hate, it just smokes better in this heat. Will be back to the briar when it cools off a bit.
@buflosab — I had the same experience with PS Black Coffee. Nice initially but not as pleasant after that. It was a sample I tried at the Texas Pipe Show. But, I also tried a sample of PS Luxury Twist Flake which I now love! So, you win some, you lose some.
@Bentbrier — I really like Presbyterian mixture. I opened my first tin last week. Good stuff!
As far as the cigar... no haters here. Several of us enjoy a stogy from time to time. In the late 90s I was smoking mostly cigars during the cigar craze. Had 2 humidors full. I’d come back to a pipe every now and then and REALLY enjoy it. After a few years I realized I simply liked smoking pipes more than cigars. So I came back to my first love. I still enjoy a nice cigar... just not as often.
RLP-6 is the bulk version of Molto Dulce according to my research......good stuff, and without the humectant. Very flavorful..........even better in a Cob in my opinion.

Thanks for the tip @pwkarch Next time I load some RLP-6 I'll use my MM cob...
