@Kmhartle You need to get on his site and sign up for the email newsletter. It will inform you on new pipes in stock. He just made a bunch of "stubby" pipes. I want another one, but money's tight right now. I want to get a short poker.
@pwkarch, eh, sorta...not 100% yet but way better for sure. I just had to get out and emjen the sunshine and burn one to chill....it worked! I could have sworn I heard my pipes calling for me..
As I stated a while back, I have yet to find a cherry blend that doesn't taste like cough drops or artificial sweetener. Well I've been smoking some Cult Blood Red Moon and it's not bad because there is just a hint of cherry. Yet it's still not what I had hoped for. But by mixing it as a 50/50 mixture with Sutliff Vanilla Custard it does make for a much more enjoyable smoking experience. And by adding a pinch of Sutliff Chocolate Mousse to the bowl once you've packed the 50/50 mixture it gives it a nice chocolate covered cherry taste upon the initial light up.
It was 70 degrees here yesterday and today it's in the 20's with 25-30 mph winds. I'm going to sneak a quick smoke of Nightcap in my Nording Shorty.
@ghostsofpompeii ~ Have you tried the Captain Black Red Sky tinned tobacco? It's my favorite cherry blend having searched many cherry blends over the years.
@Kmhartle I was in the southern part of KS and northern OK this week. Weather was wonderful yesterday, just had a quick smoke of Firestorm. It started to flurry!
@Jayhawk422 I just came in from the back porch after my short smoke. The ground is white here! You know what they say....if you don't like the weather in Kansas, wait five minutes. It will change.
@Kmhartle Since you've been searching for a good cherry blend, I was wondering if you have tried Lane's Dark Red? 2 people at the St. Louis pipe show were swearing by this blend. Thinking about ordering some, but just haven't pulled the trigger yet...
Just Recieved my first Tin Of East India Trading Co. Officers Club. What a great blend, extremely satisfied. Decided to give it a try after seeing members comments and reviews.
Wild Atlantic in my the first pipe I ever owned. Got it wrong in another thread (old memory cells). It's a Vuillard Meerschaum, Saint Claude. Love the shape. Stem a bit worse for wear as I didn't care for it properly in the beginning. Meerschaum lining is very thin now from over aggressive cleaning before I knew better. But, despite all that it still smokes great and as I said I love the size and shape.
Second Breakfast in my Missouri Pride cob...had to pay a visit to my barber this morning. It was fun reminding him that he has been cutting my hair for about 30 years now. Lol.

Today I am having B&M vanilla Cavendish in my no name bent.
Looks like someone feels better.....happy smoking
