@Corey562 Took a pic of myself in the garage having a bowl today. Thinking of switching out my TPL pic. Been feeling bad about having faces to text to and not giving you guys one in return. Might change it out later today. At least you'll have a face to put to my comments, even though it won't be much to look at...
@Corey562 Well now you have a face (that only a mother would love) to put to our conversations...
I hope the grains turn out spectacular on your two ebauchons. It looks as if you will be needing a shank extension on at least one. Do you plan your stem types before, during or after you see how the stummel turns out?
@Corey562 Did you consider making a plateau freehand out of the first block (the single pipe block) by simply flipping the pipe plan? From the pic it looks like a prime candidate. But I know I'm not seeing the whole picture.
@Corey562 Yeah, the only reason I suggested it was because you already had 2 squat tomatoes on the other block. Hey, you need do whatever is necessary to get the most out of your blocks and your creativity...
@Corey562 Nothing wrong with letting thongs sit. Especially if you're waiting for a little more inspiration. Besides, the Holiday season is upon us so what better time to "back off" for a while. Remember "The Shinning"? "All work and no play makes Jack a very dull boy"... Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family...
@Corey562 Full bent squats are neat, especially if you enjoy peeking down at the warm embers in the bowl. I can hardly wait to see your design...
Have another estate pipe I'm going to start the alcohol bath and reaming process. After the sanding I'll see what I have and see what I need to do to this one... I'm going to start holding the pics down to before / after. I think I don't need to picture the processes since I can simply verbalize that part of the process. Anyway, pics will be posted eventually...
@Corey562 Holy cow, I'm surprised you were able to get an airhole through that shank! Do I sense a sigh of relief after that phase was completed successfully?
@Corey562 You just can't bring yourself to take a break, can you? Of course I know it's hard to bridle great talent. I love the dino. egg. GREAT look...
