@KA9FFJ I'm a gear-geek and am always interested in hearing what kind of guitars people play. I don't have a lot of gear but I really like the stuff I have: a Larrivee acoustic, a Jackson electric, and a Collings mandolin.
@TakeMeToTheShire I'm an acoustic guy: Steel = Fender, Martin Classic = Alvarez Conquistador Nothing really fancy, but they give me the sounds I'm looking for...
@Londy3 I like the water color that you did with the red flowers. Fantastic job picking up the lighting passing through the windows. Not an easy thing to capture. Well done sir.
To be honest, bulls balls are great eating--also called "mountain oysters"...sliced battered and fried in butter. They certainly don't look appetizing raw though!
@TakeMeToTheShire; I have two guitars. My first is a Jasmine S-35, manufactured
in Indonesia in 2013 by Takamine. Date of
Manufacture August of 2013, it is 1 of 1078 made that month. It's just a beginners guitar, but has great tone. I bought it from my son for $75.00. I think he was the second owner. My son and oldest granddaughter(14) and I are all taking lessons. They are both better players than I. When you start trying to learn to play at 75 years of age, apparently it takes longer.
My electric is an Epiphone ES-339. Bought it in eBay. Date of manufacture = 12/2012 number 719 for that month. Country of Manufacture = Qingdao, China. The fellow I got it from was the second owner. I paid $349.00 plus S/H. She is a pretty thing. I named her Dee-Dee.
@opipeman I really like that Epiphone! Very cool. My first acoustic was a Takamine, bought new in 1992. I still have it but it’s no longer playable. I learned a lot on that guitar and it holds a place in the heart.
@TakeMeToTheShire; Thank you Brother. You really don't have to spend a ton on a Guitar. I wanted to try and learn how to play one at the age of 73, knowing fully well that I might be to old to made it work. Since then my lessons have been interrupted by the China Virus Lock down, my teacher's surgery and recovery for a torn tendon in his elbow. My lack of discipline and focus when it comes to practice. I'll never be very good at it, but its only been five years. What do you expect from and old guy?
I just finished mounting a “Bugbuster” scope on my Seneca Dragonfly MK2 .22 caliber multi-pump airgun and did a quick 15 yard sight in. I started a little late and ran out of time. I wish I had a basement. My impromptu shooting bench was too short and wobbly, but it, and I, did ok. It’s about a 1/2” group of 10 shots. I’ll get a more sturdy and comfortable bench and get the point of impact over to the left a bit and hopefully some tighter grouping.🙂. The Dragonfly was smacking the heck out of my pellet trap. I may have to reinforce the back with some thicker steel before it penetrates it😳. I was thinking about sighting in my Benjamin Akela PCP .22 cal. also, but I think it would punch through, it is more powerful.
I know some of you guys have airguns. I fully recommend the Dragonfly MK2. It operates as described. I had to buy it just to see and feel the pump mechanism work. It truly has a consistent pump effort from 1-15 pumps, and it is pretty easy to pump. In .22 caliber, it pushes a 14.3 grain (common size) at around 700+ fps. It’s a pretty good wallop. It comes with a 6 round magazine so you don’t have to fiddle around single loading pellets. It does come with a single load tray as well. It is also available in .177 cal., which pushes 7 grain pellets at around 900 fps., and the magazine holds a pellet or two more.
Rat Race is a great movie until the last 10 minutes of it, then it turns mindnumblingly stupid. But you'll laugh hysterically through the entire thing (except the last 10 minutes). John Cleese plays a great role in it. I don't know if it was intentional or not, but it's a lot like a more modern version of "It's a mad mad mad mad world".

This medium seems to play right into your hands...👍🏻
Thanks so much man!
It is good that they don't look good raw. Just sayin.
