just had the pleasure of being invited to my neighbors cabin in the Adirondacks, on the wall was this picture of her father at the local farmers market where he sold fruits and vegetables for over 70 years!
I'm running a twitter account that posts old archived photos of pipe smokers through the ages. if you want to give it a look, it's www.twitter.com/ofpipesandmen
If you all have pictures that you think would work great for it, feel free to DM me with them and I'll gladly add them.
@Gpolly1 Give us a better look brother. Sit it on a table or something and give us a couple of different views. My money will be on @PappyJoe or @RockyMountainBriar @vtgrad2003 might be right in there since he has an affection for Savs...
@Gpolly1; Usually there is a model number stamped above Italy. I don't see a number on yours. I also have a couple Savinellis that don't have a number stamped on them. So as usual I'm of very little help.
My guess is that it doesn't have a model number because the quality of the briar doesn't appear to fit the standard for this line, but they didn't want to throw it away either (sometimes hard to see what a briar looks like before you carve into it), so they finished it, but left it unstamped (maybe)
@vtgrad2003 That actually makes sense, since I bought it for $35 (euro). That defintely look like it, thank you! Also, I was wondering what kind of stem it was? I just know it's not acrylic. I know, I ask too many questions! Thanks again!
Stem composition is out of my wheelhouse--the stem they currently use for that model is indeed acrylic. @KA9FFJ might know what yours is just by looking at it as he refinishes pipes.

I would buy that pipe stand.
Saw this painting that caught my eye entitled, "Self Portrait"...
Very nice...
That is absolutely awesome!
Been there and done that!

So, this is a Savinelli pipe that I bought in Italy. Does anyone know what the name of this pipe is? I just can't find it on their website.

If it's a Savinelli there should be some identifying marks on the stem.
