@Zouave I would wear that everywhere I could if I owned a suit like that.
@PappyJoe@RockyMountainBriar The Oak Island Money Pit was one of those stories that captured my imagination ever since I heard about it as a kid, like the missing Roanoke Colony. I have no idea if they'll ever find treasure, but the eternal dreamer in me hopes there is. The Astonishing Legends podcast did an excellent four part series on the pit, and I highly recommend listening to it.
Actually focal length and camera angle. Depth of field is focus area, i.e. the building in the backgound is blurry due to the depth of field which varies with the aperture setting.
Not pipe-related, but the most ridiculous camera-usage representation I've seen in a long time, by the mangaka of the period-piece manga of "Daisy: How to Become the Duke's Fiancée" by a bunch of reporters carrying twin-lens reflex cameras. This is in chapter 26.
@AnantaAndroscoggin Those look like the Mamiya Twin Lens reflex cameras I used to shoot with in my early days as a photojournalist. They were quite popular with news photographers back in the 60s and early 70s because they were considered medium format cameras and shot 120 mm film instead of 35mm. Better quality because the negatives were larger.
@AnantaAndroscoggin I never used a Yashica. We had Rolliflex TLR at my second public affairs assignment. At first I didn't like the twin lens cameras, but I came to appreciate how functional they were.

Fond memories, indeed! Me too.
We love The Curse of Oak Island and watch it every week.
I do believe that the only treasure they will find is the money they receive for doing the show though.
Notice his shoes. That's back in the day when a shoe shine was important...🙂
The wool is making me itch just looking at the picture.

You are correct, of course. I plead senility.

I have the Mamiya C330, I guess none of us could afford a Hasselblad!
