@opipeman I don’t know, they have a different problem when looting TV’s……they need to use at least one hand to keep their pants from falling from their thighs to their ankles.
@RockyMountainBriar; Somewhere in their upbringing they weren't taught how to use a belt to keep their trousers up and that the bill of a ball cap faces the front. I don't know, maybe that makes me a racist.
@opipeman Nah, all colors and creeds do it, at least up here anyway. It boils down to “worthless dirtbags”, how can a person work if their pants are down around their ankles or using one or both hands to keep them up? I may be profiling🤔
WTF is wrong with these douchbags, are they all trying to emulate oompa loompas so they can get handicapped status and government money? Since they are wearing extra long shirts, why don’t they just start wearing robes/dresses like some of the “men” in the middle east and ditch the pants and belt…it would save them some money.
@Londy3 Don't forget about the tons of old batteries made with very bad chemicals and heavy metals that will need to find someplace to be buried...or dropped in an ocean somewhere. Environmentally friendly my ass.
@RockyMountainBriar NONE of this "green" alternative energy is green at all. The government thinks your even more stupid than joe biden! (Not capitalized out of severe disrespect)
I’d say electric solar panels would be about as green as it gets, but they still require batteries. They just need to make some high capacity panels that work in the dark. The minerals still need to be mined however.
Solar panels are bad too. Trust me, none of green energy ideas are green at all. Don't even get me started. That's how they sell it to The People. Again, because they think you're that stupid.
I've seen this study now plastered on pretty much every front page (midway or at bottom) on nearly every news site today...and it is such bullshit!!! Can't we stop freaking out about poorly designed "Science"?
To put into perspective, in the lower 48 alone there are an estimated 125,000 lakes of at least 20 acres; this study that everyone is talking about had 501 tissue "samples" from two studies--and one of those studies was highly regionalized, injecting tons of bias into the data (i.e., the samples are not random). If we assume that each "sample" came from a different lake, then they still have only sampled a measly 0.0040 of lakes in the country (or 0.40%). Furthermore, one of the necessary conditions for statistical adequacy is independence within our conditioning set of observations, so we would also have to assume that no lake was somehow 'connected' to another lake to control for endogeneity. I'm sorry, being an econometrician, if my "sample" was this small, this biased, with as much endogeneity as this one likely has, I would be laughed out of my discipline.
I'm a scientist by trade and I don't even know what constitutes "science" anymore...it certainly isn't what it used to be.
Crap like this reminds me of the Covid mask study everyone was raving about that had two plastic heads facing each other inside a 6 cubic foot plexiglass box...one plastic head with a mask and the other without...yep, sounds realistic to me!
Eating one fish from U.S. lakes or rivers likened to drinking month's worth of contaminated water
@vtgrad2003; I don't have your expertise, but I instinctively knew it was Bullshit. I catch and release primarily because I don't like to clean fish and my Bride doesn't like to cook fish. The country has good water quality as a whole or all the fish would float.
I never listen nor agree to any "scientific" study or announcement that comes from any government, agency or university that provides any claims about any study. I do the opposite and I'm usually right.
North Carolina is quickly becoming Florida (watch video of the chase in the link below). We have a radio guy down here that does a "Florida man Friday" skit on his show every Friday...he should change that to "Carolina man Friday"
Why not? For years North Carolinians have been doing crazy shit...like the guy on the tractor outside of Boone in the article I posted, but we haven't gotten the recognition Florida has for it...I think we should start our own Carolina Man day!
I have heard of (and seen) a few rural (redneck/hillbilly) types in Montana and Nebraska driving tractors because they lost their drivers license for DUI. Drivers license’s are not required for tractors, or at least they weren’t. I’m not sure about now? It’s been several years since I have seen it happen? I have seen some people try to get away with using lawn/garden tractors too, but sometimes that don’t “fly”.

But they have belts on 🤔
They think this looks good? How can you even walk? 😅😂🤣
Dirtbags you say? Thanks Brothers, there for a minute, I was afraid I was a racist.

Classic. I'm STILL laughing
