As far as I know, the above video of Robert Johnson shows the only two photographs of him that exist. A few years ago, I had the opportunity to visit his gravesite in Mississippi.
A young and less militant Ted Nugent. A friend of ours was his road manager for several years (all from Detroit of course). He also managed Meatloaf and for awhile Van Morrison. He also toured South America with REO Speedwagon and several other groups. Once in awhile we would see a tour bus parked outside his house and wondered who was visiting. I know Ted did several times.
And again I apologize for having not checked out your last CD......I want to do it when I have some uninterupted time to listen to it while doing nothing else.
@pwkarch It's always entertaining looking at videos of established stars during their early years. Especially those from the Psychedelic 60s' who managed to survive to a ripe old age. Just learned a few days ago that the flute player from The Moody Blues, Ray Thomas passed away. All my old music idols are passing on. In the past few years guys like Chris Squire from YES, both Keith Emerson and Greg Lake from Emerson Lake & Palmer, and John Wetton the vocalist for King Crimson, Asia, and UK passed away. And now Ray Thomas.
@xDutchx I enjoy older music myself in fact, it seems as I get older so does my music. I enjoy willie nelson boy has he changed and is so much different then he is here
@xDutchx I can remember back in the early 60s' the Catholic school I was attending had cheesie sock hops, and the school didn't even dish out the cash for a live band, so they'd pull out a record player and put a mic in front of the record player and the kids would dance to a combination of distorted music and feedback. And when-ever "Louie, Louie" would play all the girls gathered around the record player and giggle, as if sharing a private dirty joke, imagining all sorts of lurid interpretations from those slurred lyrics. Everyone seemed to hear something else - each new interpretation more scandalous than the next.
@ghostsofpompeii - What I discovered about 10-15 years ago is how mellow the sound of the hard rock bands of the 60s & 70s are now compared to what's being played these days. I didn't really care for Jefferson Airplane, Moody Blues, Iron Butterfly, Led Zeppelin, Motly Crue or Molly Hatchet back then. Hell, compared to what I've heard recently, Jim Morrison and the Doors were all playing choir music.

Director John Carpenter steps away from the camera long enough to put together an album of new music.

@ghostsofpompeii, I enjoy the early stuff as well. Here is proof, that Willie Nelson wasn't always a long haired outlaw dope smoker...........
