@motie2 I think I want to "cut me a slice" right now, it sounds tasty and I am not even a big fan of apple pie. I wonder if it needs a topping of Ala Mode to go with it...such as BCA or VBC?
Since seeing the advertisement for Grandma's Apple Pie Pipe Tobacco I could not get it out of my mind. I can not imagine what it would taste like. Apple pie? Has anyone actually tried apple-flavored tobacco? Applejack or apple brandy as a flavoring could be something to try.
In order to bring a little comfort during this period of pandemic distress, MARKEN Pipes wants you to relax with a nice new pipe. To help ease the stress we are now offering FREE SHIPPING on all orders anywhere in the world.
Not a "deal" or a "sale" but I just placed a tobacco order with watchcitycigar.com. Their retail shop is closed but they are still filling internet orders. I order 2 ounces each of two of their bulk blends and a tin each of Vauen's The Shire and Himalaya Blend.
We are pleased to announce that on May 1, 2020, our 150th Anniversary Blend will be available to order. The culmination of two years experimentation in blending, cutting, pressing and, of course, sampling, has produced a fine matured Viriginia that we trust you will savor for many years to come.
We begin using the finest middle-belt Viriginias, including some rare leaf from the 2010 crop. We press the blended tobacco for up to six weeks to enhance the deep flavor - this changes the color to a dark brown. We cut it into a slightly thicker than traditional flake format - this thick cut preserves the flavor. Blend 150 is medium in strength with a rich, subtly sweet flavor of dates and vintage port. It is reminiscent of our discontinued "Scottish Flake" but with greater complexity.
As current circumstances dictate, please order online https://www.ljperetti.com/ or by phone at 617 482 0218 or email us at peretti@ljperetti.com beginning May 1. Stay safe everyone & happy Piping!

<<P&C remains fully operational at this time. Due to a large volume of orders and carrier delays, orders are experiencing longer than normal delivery times. Thank you for your patience.>>
@jfreedy It's not P&C as much as it is USPS. For example, I made an order through smoking pipes on April 28th. It was received at the USPS facility in Longs, SC that day, For the next three days, tracking showed it the Priority Mail package was still at the USPS facility until this morning when it magically appeared as being "Out for Delivery" today. Normally, I get an order from smoking pipes two days after they send it.
I also received notification on the 29th that a Priority Mail 2-Day shipping package from RDpipes had been received by USPS. On the 30th, it showed the package at the New Orleans distribution center (30 miles from where I live). It didn't get to my post office until this morning. Took USPS two days to get a package moved 30 miles.
It's not always the shipper's fault if it takes a long time for a delivery through USPS.
FYI, I was at the USPS the other day and learned why delays are so bad. I was told they are busier now than during the Christmas Holiday. They are behind 2 weeks without the part time help they hire for Christmas. Guess since everyone is home online orders are through the roof.
Good news! We have pipe tobacco and cigars back online. Not just any pipe tobacco either. We've put up some things that are not easy to come by. These won't last long so act quickly! http://briarworksusa.com/pipe-tobacco/
Saw this on-line retailer in Germany being discussed in another forum. They ship to the United States and have a lot of tobacco not available over here for good prices. They also don't charge the VAT that they have to charge European buyers. Shipping is expensive if you only order a couple of tins, but they guys I've discussed this with say it's not bad if you buy $200 worth of tobaccos.
I tried to order some W.O.Larsen “Indigo” from several different EU places and they would not ship overseas because of customs rules. I have looked into getting Japanese Koiki Kizami Tobacco and there are several places that said they would sell it, but people that ordered it said it was confiscated at customs.

What a wonderful idea.
I think I would go for Lane VBC.or Sutliff Vanilla Custard.
@pappyjoe has a review, "The apple tobacco of my eye…and taste" about Solani Green Blend 127 at https://pappyjoesblog.com/apple-tobacco-eye-taste/
I would be a little leery about a pipe tobacco claiming to taste like Apple Pie.

I've chatted with several people about this on other forums and will have to ask them. One of the guys just made a $250 order.
