The main aim of the Pipesart group is to present the most challenging shapes and forms of smoking pipes, yet very elegant and practical. We do our best to fulfill the special requests of our pipe smokers all around the world. Base on the huge interest we mostly offer the very artistic and high quality briar pipes designed and carved by some of the best carvers in the world. Here, you will find the latest arrival on the Pipesart online shop.
I don't know guys. I appreciate the "artistic flare" of pipes like these, but. Even if I could possibly afford pipes of this unique caliber and artistry, I could not smoke them. I am a tee shirt / sweatshirt and shorts kind of guy who wears athletic shoes or docksiders. No pretenses, and honestly don't put on any false airs. Me smoking a pipe like this would be like trying to shine a piece of, well you get it. Outside the house I usually have a pipe or a cigar hanging out my trap. I often wander around the yard as though lost, and stare wide eyed to that which occurs around me. The point being, I am a Corn Cob / reasonably priced Briar pipe kind of guy who smokes simple and economy priced tobacco. If I owned, and smoked a pipe such as these, my head would probably explode.
I more than understand @pwkarch. Looking at these high end works of art is fun but they don't fit my budget or my lifestyle. It is sort of like looking at expensive sports cars when what you need is a reliable pick up truck. Still their fun to look at.
From our friends at Smokingpipes.com -- Xu Hai's Bamboo Two-Pipe Set
Celebrated across the globe for his work in the traditional forms of calligraphy, seal making, and painting, Xu Hai upholds excellence and creativity within the structured rules of any art form. To achieve that excellence in the craft of pipemaking, he's studied the Ivarsson tradition, first and foremost through Lars Ivarsson, followed by Nanna Ivarsson and Jess Chonowitsch. His pipes are primal and strong, refining shapes toward simplicity and eschewing the "fancy" in favor of the "pursuit of pureness." In our most recent batch from the renowned polymath, you can see that purity of form in an Ivarssonian long-shanked Acorn, as well as a stunning two-pipe set, featuring a pair of bamboo-shanked Pots together with a bamboo tamper, all presented in a custom-made, leather-bound box marked by Hai's calligraphic stamp.
@pipeman83 - Me too, which is why I keep searching antique and junk shops and malls. I've only paid over $125 for three of my pipes. My real expensive pipes, I was lucky enough to win in long smoke competitions.
The American Pipemaking Exposition has become an annual, 4th of July tradition. The event focuses on a central, pipe-related element that either defines or has been championed by the American artisanal pipemaking tradition, with each carver submitting a piece showcasing that theme. For the Expo's 5th anniversary, we return to the motif that started it all: Bamboo.
While bamboo was originally implemented to save briar during scarcities, modern artisans now incorporate the natural medium into a pipe's form, not only as a shank extension but as an artistically coherent element of design. The use of bamboo has continued to evolve in American pipemaking since the first Exposition in 2015, and compared to the inaugural event, we now have more carvers participating in the project, resulting in a more diverse showcase.

You're going to have to explain that one....... How'd you pull that off????
Well, nobody has ever paid me to take a pipe off of their hands yet.
