@KA9FFJI can understand that. Still use it to this day and yes, it goes great on pizza. I use to carry a small bottle in the field to spice up (more like give flavor to) those C-rations we use to get. Man, they were flat! Later, when MREs replaced the C-rats, they weren't any better so I continued to carry a bottle. Goes great on eggs too!
No, thanks. I have some favorite hot sauces that I like better than Frank's. Don't get me wrong: there is nothing wrong with Frank's; it has it's appropriate applications: For newbies that are just getting into hot sauces beyond Tabasco. It's also the go to sauce for Cincinnati Chili. Also good for chilimac.
As a western New Yorker transplanted in the Midwest, I soon discovered that no one here can make an authentic buffalo wing to save their life. I have to resort to making my own. I buy Frank's Hot sauce in the 1/2 gallon container at Wally World. I have a shelf of different hot sauces in my fridge, but Frank's is liquid gold to me.
The recipe for Buffalo Wings is simple and straight forward but, they never taste quite the same as when I get them up in Niagara Falls at a Sci-Fi Convention, Must be the Lake Erie air or something. A Brooklyn Pizza is better than a Buffalo Pizza and Jersey shore has Sausage and Peppers to die for. And Cape Cod Clam Chowder is a Winter's dream. America has everyone's Great Food.
@pipeman83 Thank you for the compliment, though I don't feel I deserve it. I just piddle around and try different things and do the best I can. I'll be bringing them to the pipe show to display some pipes. There easy enough to make that if people want to buy them, I'll sell them at the show as long as I can get enough money to make it worth my while and get new materials. If not, no big deal. I'll use them around the place here.
Had 3 come in last night with their 1st (if you catch my meaning)...
@pipeman83 I'm taking them to the St. Louis Pipe Show in a couple of weeks and using them to display Corey's pipe(s). I guess I had better think of a price in case someone asks to buy them. If not, I'll be bringing them home and I'll let you know...
Good idea about the stem saddles @Charles. However, I'll probably be asking something like 10, 20 & 35 respectfully. It's just a hobby. and I want to try and make sure they sell. I have 2 more @Corey562 pipes I'm buying and I am going to use the money for that, even my refurb pipes are going to go between 5 and 40 (I'll have about 32 of them). So my objective is to "price to sell"... I wish you could come to the show...

By the way @motie2 You ever try Frank's Hot Sauce on pizza? If you're like me, you've probably slapped on just about everything... I love that stuff!

To me, the scrap wood = warmth.
