@vtgrad2003 so internet shopping for you then i take it. I get it though. People have a way of ruining things. I know Pipe and Pint have a location in Greensboro but pipe tobacco seems like an afterthought to what is otherwise a wine and cigar shop. That's just my impression. Well happy piping in solitude. Thats how I like it generally.
Hey gang, it's me @Zouave . I foolishly got a new phone and can't transfer my account over so I'm starting over with this account. I tried notifying the administrator but they never sent me a link to reset my password.....so hi.....again.
In the upper part of the black sidebar on the left, click on the wheel icon under your name, then click on 'edit profile' in the drop down menu that appears. After you go to the edit page you'll see "change my fucking picture"....it's right above "how to operate my new fucking phone" and just below "we ain't got no fucking administrators on this site"
@Franknj820 I definitely did that early on. Many on here probably use a spreadsheet to track their cellars but i used a spreadsheet early on to track which tobaccos I had purchased, tried, tasting notes, and all kinds of things. Ultimately i've kind of given up on that. I'm not saying don't keep with it. If I had the energy to be that thorough I think it would be a nice to have sort of the annals of your pipe journey but I end up trying random blends from folks and meh its just more energy than I want to invest. I think for me once you've tried enough tobaccos you can have a good sense of what you like and what you don't and your ability to assess them comes more naturally and you don't have to sit and literally compare notes. But do what brings you joy. That's what pipe smoking is about.
@Franknj820; Like @RockyMountainBriar I've considered it, but it would be more like work than necessity. The older I get the more I think I should have. I tend to forget what blends are like and whether they have changed. Old well, too late now.
@Franknj820 A couple of us have written blogs but maybe not recently. In fact, I have several reviews about different pipe tobacco that I need to finish and post online.
It is a bit far from my house. Milton Berne’s son owned a nice shop, but not sure if it is still in business. I seem to hang fairly close to home anymore.
great day everyone! ! ! I’m Thatguy KI!!! New to the group and the pipe community. Haven’t even purchased my first pipe yet, but I met a great group of guys through my brother Londy who is a member here, and jumped at the opportunity to be apart.
Hey @ThatguyKI Welcome to the nuthouse buddy. It's great to have you join our pipe community. Feel free to jump right in. There are a lot of great folks here and good community! I think you will enjoy this pipe life. We shall go pipe shopping soon! You definitely need to get a Savinelli once you decide you dig the pipe scene. I look forward to planning our next gathering early Dec. I will shoot you an email on here with the other guys.
@ThatguyKI; @Londy3 is a great example/ambassador of our group, so let me add my welcome. A Savinelli is an outstanding pipe. You might try "Lane Limited LL7" as your introduction tobac. Go ahead and speak your mind here, a few of us have none.

Yep, internet for me. I get all my pipe stuff from SP and all my cigars from Best Cigar Prices or Famous Smoke Shop.
For a bit there, I thought someone poached your handle. Now I don’t have to worry who is who🙂
I’m with @vtgrad2003 about the creepy smiley face….🙂😳😬
Fuck-em if you want a smiley face, keep it. You're a free smoker by God, and can do what you want.
Welcome fellow pipe and tobacco aficionado.
Glad to welcome you to the forum. Jump in and enjoy. Lots of knowledge to be found here, some of it is even true.
Welcome to the party.
You got questions? We've got answers.
Can’t say that I do…..that would be too much like work.

They had a small tobacco and pipe selection.
