Went looking for a coffee liqueur to go in my coffee tonight. I saw this and said that's an interesting looking coffee liqueur and bought a bottle without checking the ABV. Check this stuff out...
@motie2 The surprising thing is the sign on the display said $10.99. I'm putting 2 oz. in a cup with 8 oz. of dark roast coffee and a splash of cream. It's pairing well my a bowl of Jolly Old St. Nicholas.
@Londy3 A little Myers’s Dark Rum from Jamaica, a pat of real salted butter, about a tablespoon of brown sugar, top with some water just off of the boil, and a sprinkle of nutmeg and cinnamon 😋 Dang, I think I’ll make me one for a nightcap🤔
Giving this brewery from Ypres a try. Apparently it's brewed in a building where the British soldiers printed a trench newspaper during WWI hence the Wipers Times. Wipers being a very bad British pronunciation of Ypres.
@Zouave1864 Also, I’m guessing they used that term because they probably used the pages for $#!+ tickets, better than wet leaves👍🏻 Dubbel? Double Bock, or Double?
Man, I haven't posted here in quite a while. But I managed to sneak in a half a bowl of Boswell Cupcake. And to prove I still haven' grown up, I chased it with a can of Yoohoo Chocolate Drink.
@Londy3 I just bought that exact cap. Thought I was going to loose all my hair after the chemo so I ordered the cap, but my Oncologist and Radiologist have both determined I won't need the chemo. Radiation and meds should do the trick without the added discomfort of chemo treatments. Always liked the look of that style cap (called a Newsboys Cap) but was never one for wearing a hat. The type of cap seen on Peeky Blinders and Youtube's resident Hitman "Sammy The Bull wears.

It’s all about finding the right rum…..

I may keep remove the label and keep the bottle as a decanter for other rums.
