My mother ,of blessed memory, was quite a character. She used to say, “If you want to know what it’s like to give birth, take your upper lip and pull it up over your head.”
@PappyJoe; @Zouave1864; I sent it to my daughter-in-law and told her to show it to my granddaughters. She hasn't responded, so maybe it didn't play well. Could being a "Swiftie" be some sort of religion?
A woman goes to the store to get a hair trimmer for her dog and as she’s browsing a clerk says, “If you’re using it on your underarms, don’t spray on deodorant for a few hours. It will sting a lot.”
She says “No, it’s not for my underarms.”
The clerk says “Well if you’re doing your legs, don’t wear pantyhose for a day, it can irritate your skin.”
She says “No it’s not for my legs… if you must know, it’s for my Schnauzer”
The clerk says “Ah, I see. In that case don’t ride a bicycle for a week.”
Thanks @PappyJoe, that worked….funny too. I’m not sure I want to visit Louisiana anymore though😳 I don’t like crawdads that much🙂 Unless, of course, it’s ok to choot’em, choot’em the gator’s🤔
@RockyMountainBriar There are more good things down here beside crawfish. There is a large rice farm that also has a distillery where they make 100% rice gin, vodka and whiskey. The whiskey is one of my go-to bottles I keep on hand. There is a rum distillery owned by a family that has been sugar cane growers since the mid-1800s. Its strictly farm to bottle operation makes five or six different variations of rum. They have even started buying sugar cane from other farms to help them stay profitable when sugar prices drop. There at least two other rum distilleries in the state producing good rum.
It's not that I don't like buying the big name whiskeys made in Kentucky and Tennessee or rums from other regions of the world, but I am very much a believer in supporting local business. That being said, if they were producing crap, I wouldn't buy it.
My kind of woman👍🏻 IF…..she is a woman, and heterosexual. She looks like she could lift my Jeep off of me if the jack failed while I was working under it.
They sit down and the Gen Z kid orders from the gluten free vegan menu and the boomer orders a T-Bone steak.
They start chatting and the Gen Z kid says that social justice issues are the biggest problem facing the world, and that the white supremacist patriarchy is a plague on society.
The boomer waves this off and says the kids these days are just too sensitive, and that he fought for civil rights in the sixties and did his part.
They go back and forth on this for a while, and finally the Gen Z kid says, “We’re just not gonna settle this. We don’t see eye to eye. You’re too old and out of touch and I’m too young and inexperienced. What we need to do is ask a Millennial with a PhD in sociology for their opinion.”
The boomer says, “That’s a great idea!” And yells, “HEY BARTENDER, C’MERE!”

I guess I should identify as an infant. I just wet myself.
Timmy didn't like it!
That seems logical.
Still trying to get my head around the fact that 'Take Out' can mean food, dating, or murder.
Being popular on most social media is like sitting at the cool kids table in the cafeteria of a mental hospital.
I woke up this morning determined to drink less, eat right, and exercise. But that was four hours ago when I was younger and full of hope.
It's weird being the same age as old people.
My three granddaughters are Taylor Swift fans. I will share the video with them. It is funny as hell.
Be careful. A "Swiftie" sense of humor may be different when it comes to watching videos like this one.

I thought that was an improvement.

She has a good point.

I think I would like the people too🙂
There are a lot of good people down here but as with anywhere else in the country, there are numerous assholes also.
I agree, I think she could hurt this old man.

A Gen Z kid and a boomer walk into a bar.
Your son is right. That really is funny.
One would hope they would have a "no shit" moment. They won't.
