@Oddjob27 — it’s a great pipe. I love the idea of a sandblasted unfinished pipe. So cool. Can’t beat the price either! I’ll probably be buying more Bones pipes.
Now the site is back to normal...........SO happy to know you are enjoying your pipes again, and that you are obviously in a better frame of mind. I pray for you to be back in great health again, as many others here do as well.
As I get older, the list of folks that are included in my prayer efforts gets more numerous each and every day.
PS English Luxury in my Ewa Oxford. All set for the literature event where my company Si Abuelita Press is debuting tomorrow. Super excited, but also nervous.
@ocpunk714 I hope everything goes well for you tomorrow!
Tried my first bowl of MacBaren's HH Burley Flake in my Country Gentleman. Good stuff, though it's hard to replace favorites like OJK and Haunted Bookshop.
McClelland No. 2000 Fragrant Matured Cake in a 60s Yello-bole bamboo apple. Just now tried some of this blend and can’t believe it’s classified as an aromatic. More like a straight Virginia broken flake. It’s excellent!
Sunset Rum today.Im still having trouble signing in. Keep getting a message stating wrong password. Using same password I've always used. have to delete password from auto-fill and type in the same password, then I'm in the site, hard to understand.
Another good day (it's not raining; it's rained overnight almost every day for the past two weeks.) That means I'll get out on the deck later (after the chairs have dried) and enjoy a bowl or two.
This afternoon, I smoked my birthday cigar from our CPCC meeting from last night. It was a house cigar called Oro de Nicaragua. I am a nic lightweight. My review was along the line of STOP THIS RIDE!!! I WANT OFF!!!
Afterwards, I smoked a little of Blue Ribbon, from the Country Squire, that someone gifted me. Suddenly I could really taste the blackberry flavor that comes with this blend. I enjoyed the sweetness. This saved my afternoon. I really enjoyed this.
This is why I often load two pipes, one a natural and the other an aromatic. When one pipe goes out, I light the other. It really helps me taste the difference.
A bit of Vintage Syrian in my first briar. It’s a H.I.S. Which I purchased exactly 6 months ago when I started this journey.
@thebadgerpiper Thanks brother! It was a fun event. The turnout was not like last year, but I got to meet up with my friends who live in different parts of California. That was my favorite part.
