Just fired up by first bowl of Mike and Russ The Mind Meld Virginia Ribbon in an ancient billiard from Watkins' Corner, a long gone B&M in downtown Detroit.
Took the 3 oldest grandsons (13 year old and twin 9 year olds) on a fishing trip yesterday. Also took a corn cob and some Briarworks Peach Cobbler. Towards the end of the trip after the boys got the hang of casting and getting fish to the boat, I took a break and lit my pipe. Almost immediately one of the 9-year olds asks, "Who's eating fruit? I'm hungry, too."
Loading some "Pappy's Blend" into a cob now. It's a blend one of my sons gave me as a Christmas present in 2014. 75% Latakia, 25% Perique and 25% Whiskey cased Burley.
Just got done smoking some Esoterica Blackpool in my Moretti Oom Paul. I forgot how nice that tobacco is. No bite what so ever no matter how hard I puffed and got it last about 2 hours at a decently fast cadence. Wish the stuff was easier to get.
mmm Peach Cobbler! Thats some good stuff @pappyjoe. I gotta say I'm pretty stoked about the new peach blend coming out from Ole Shenandoah. I think you twisted my arm to load up a bowl of peach cobbler now!
I'm loading a MM Legend with some St. Bruno Flake in a few moments. Letting the flake dry some first. I've already poured my coffee and have some bluegrass gospel music playing.

coffee with the Missus and a bowl of Captain Black (w) in my Friar.
The sale is over so the next few weeks will be loading and storing the
left overs. But on that we have just over two months and we
have already dug thru the worst area to pull out things for the sale.I'm
thinking a bowl of Virginia Gold Black and Gold will help me
relax and prepare for more heavy lifting. Also there is a jar of SPS LNF
hiding in there somewhere and that meer is begging to be loaded.
A old grey bearded man up of the roof putting siding on the second story walls. This is after moving 3
tables 2 love seats and and some smaller objects from the front porch to the garage. If you have this scene
in your minds eye.then give that old man a cob pipe packed with Carter Hall and you will see what I've
been smoking, mostly smoking HOT.But don't get me wrong,I'm not complaining,I'll get paid for it and I also
had a pouch of Captain Black with me.
125%? Good trick!
I've got a bowl of Arrowhead from Paul's going, in an IPT chubby, stubby, billiard. Not a bad pipe, but I've decided I prefer a conventional stem.
