I'm sipping on some Bald Headed Teacher that @thewanderingdude graced me with. It's good and will be ordering some in the future. I hope that Voodoo Queen was enjoyable. Its a bit spicy and keeps me guessing.
It was a fun filled week at work (you can't see it but I have my sarcastic face on). I just could not make myself get on the computer at home until this morning. On the bright side, I am looking at retirement in a little over a year. If I can get it to pencil out, possibly six months.
When I heard that like the dinosaur, Edgeworth RR'd was going extinct a few years ago I bought all of it I could lay my hands on, so this morning it's black coffee and ERR'd in a Sav.
@highstump - I could probably match your bad week at work story. I was asked to fill in on two jobs for someone going on vacation with one of the printing companies I deal with. The jobs took twice as long to get done because she had them so screwed up.
Anyway, starting this morning with some Top Black Cherry in my Kaywoodie 118R and black coffee.
Flambeau from the Country Squire in a basket pipe. First of my out of 7 tobaccos to try from my latest order. Was pretty good for a cherry blend. did not seem to bite even when I was rushing it.
Loading some Lighthouse Keeper from the Country Squire into a cob for my first smoke of the day. Headed out to the garage to sit and watch the rain fall.
@PappyJoe Is Lighthouse Keeper a custom blend they made for you? I did not see that blend listed on TCS website. What kind of blend would you compare it to?
@dstrib - it's a private blend but you just have to call Jon David and ask for it. It's sort of a lighter version of Senior Chief which was a blend of the month last year.
Savoring a bowl of the 1996 crop of McCranie's Red Ribbon that I set aside in 2006, in an IRC bent billiard. Still have 2 tins of the '96 crop. Sometime this fall will pop the first of my aged tins of the 2000 crop.
As soon as my kids are abed, I'm going to fire up some Vaper (not sure which blend yet) in a new (to me) Pererson Shannon Billiard. It's my first go at cleaning up an estate pipe, and it was a pair!
In a few minutes, I'm going to fire up some Arrowhead from Paul's Pipe Shop in Flint, in old store brand apple from Campbell's in East Lansing. This is the first pipe I bought that was not a drugstore pipe; it cost me $10 in 1972.
