Father thrasher the flame in my large cutty by RD Powell. All the leaves on our red maple is providing plenty of shade in the Front yard. Sipping some Canastero 15 Solera rum.
No offense @pipeman83, but do you have a really small head? Just kidding, your pipes are always huge, you don’t mess around🙂. That 111EX looks like you could fit a softball in it😬
Smoking some of the dreaded Mixture No. 79 in my new Pete. I don’t mind it, it’s not terrible or disgusting. I didn’t realize it is a Sutliff tobacco. For Sutliff, this is ok, still wet as hell, kinda flavorless. Nothing works better than adding water/glycol to increase the weight and profit margin. It’s still better than any latakia blends I have tried though. Strange, this Mixture No. 79 is the first tobacco to give me the hiccups🤔
Past couple of days I've been alternating between bowls of Indigo and Father the Flame. I found that when I smoke a bowl of Father the Flame first and follow it immediately with a bowl of Indigo, that I pick up the nuanced flavors of Indigo more. The same is true when I reverse that and smoke the Indigo first and then FOF.
Starting today with 1/3 each blend. You can read the label to see what I've done. The last listing is from a friend of mine who does his own personal blends. Both peaches tend to bite so I added the Cavendish to the mix and it calmed it right down... Using a reworked Darby prince. It's one of my " work" pipes...
Just so people don't continue to get the wrong idea and being mistaken for a torture device, it's called a Garden Weasel, used for breaking the soul up further after turning it over...😁

It was on sale, and I had to get the free shipping with the baccy I ordered.😉
It's the upward angle he shoots his pictures.......
Unique and delicious!
Cheers
I almost bought some of that last year from a tobacco shop in Germany.
Can you tell us more about your experience smoking it?

Soil aerator? No, more like a tiller?
No, a medieval torture device......for the guy using it. It doesn’t have a motor😬
