A new "Baraccini" Copper Straight Poker that hardly needed breaking in. It comes with a short stem that is too short for my tastes(afraid I'll ignite the bill of my cap). The short stem doesn't effect the way it smokes. I whittled down an old Dr. Grabow stem that is longer. Enjoying one of the Casey Jones Blends.
@mapletop @RockyMountainBriar I hate to admit this, but there are times (not often, a rarity actually) when I find myself dozing off while enjoying a pipe, only to find I have continued to puff away during that "unconscious" state. I almost find it a little disturbing that it has become a fully automatic process... 😳
Smoking some C&D “Strawberry Cavendish” in a Pete #408.
Note: I can’t suss out any strawberry, or berry of any kind in the taste or the room-note. The bag note has a slight, very slight, berry aroma. Maybe they forgot the topping in this batch? It’s a nice smoke, just not anywhere near what I was looking forward to🙁
Fishing - Norman Rockwell in my hobby pipe. As for dozing off while enjoying the pipe... I had the same issue just the other night. I woke up when it fell out! Sometimes I just get too relaxed.
I'm starting off this morning with a bowl of Half and Half in a Dr Grabow. From the weather reports I think I'll was just handed a long weekend of peace and pipes.
Did a sunrise hike, said some morning prayers, and smoked a pipe with my buddy at the summit of Mt Helena in Montana. Using my Legend corncob from Missouri Meerchaum to smoke some Lane Black Raspberry!
@amolmes What a GREAT way to start any day. I have for years had Montana on my radar as a place I would love to live. The negative issue is I have 6 grand kids who I just could not leave. I live in New Jersey which I call New Germany and this place is just going downhill at an amazing speed.
Post shoveling pipe with my Savinelli Lovat and McConnell’s Honeydew. We had a plow take care of the majority of the driveway, but I still had about an hour and a half’s worth of work. Couldn’t imagine how long it would’ve taken without the plow.
Almost the last of my Imperial Nougat in one of my straight Rinaldo. Sunny and 74 degrees in my little corner of Louisiana. High tomorrow is forecast to be 56.
Smoking some C&D “Berries and Cream” in a Pete Sports #6.
This tobacco is another wet, snap, crackle, pop tobacco from C&D that burns surprisingly well and dry. The downside again, is there is a very slight berry pouch note and no room note or flavor of berries or cream to speak of. Disappointing, but it is still a nice smoke.

The same thing happens to me, pipe smoking is definitely not second nature to me...yet.

I'll try not to doze off while enjoying this bowl...😏
I hope I can attain your master status pipe smoking....well, all but the falling asleep/dozing/hitting neutral🙂
That sounds kinda dangerous😳

I hate it when that happens...🤨
I'm having a bowl of 221-B Baker St from Kings Street Emporium while I wait for the major snow event that is expected here about 01:00.
