Just received Sutliff Maple Street, very nice. I've only ordered 6 tins over the past 6 months or so and I am coming to the conclusion (as many of you probably have already) that tin Tobbaco is superior to bulk. I just wish their was more bang for the buck. Will of course continue to but bulk as their are many I like. Just an observation.
Funny thing: Maple Street was the second Sutliff Private Stock blend that I tried. I didn't care for it. I hit gold when I tried my beloved Barbados Plantation.
Also just tried Sutliff Vanilla Spice, can't quite give the in depth review one member gave, tasted the Vanilla and not so much the Spice part of it. But overall a nice smooth taste and aroma, will definitely be one of my go to blends. Still in the process of finding my favorite Sutliff blends. Hope to get a top 10 favorites or more and try to eliminate the ones I don't care for.
Out on the Sun Porch earlier today with an opened jar of F&K Number 60 Latakia Virginia in a Molina Rhodesian. This Tobacco is a Lat Bomb tasted great and knocked my socks loose.
HH VS in my Brandt freehand apple. Finally finished the pound I bought in June '15; bought this pound in August. Got 2 more pounds and a couple of 50 gm tins.
Cold today in St. Louis area. On the back deck bundled up grilling some apple sausages and garlic sausages while enjoying some CB Copper in a refurbished no-name, made in England, virgin briar 5 " nose warmer...
