Best Pipe Aromatic Blends

I like aromatic blends but have loved the smell of Captain Black.....Who can recommend something nice for me to smoke?  I don't like a hot or bitter smoke, looking for something mild with a good aromatic flavor and smell.

A certain company's Pipe Tobacco of the Month Club might be a good option for you. I like it for being introduced to lots of blends I might not otherwise have tried. Pretty sure that certain company also has an aromatics only option.

I really enjoy Rivendale from the Country Squire.  Not to strong aro but really nice.  Also I like Black Gold from Hiland Cigar's, its a little on the wet side but it mild and I really like the room note.

I really like Sutliff"s Molto Dolce, it's smooth no bite and the room note is so pleasant, that I haven't had anyone complain..

A certain online tobacconist has a good many of the Suttliff aromatics on sale at $5/tin. I believe it is the same one that has the pipe tobacco of the month club. Sadly though, I fear that most of the Suttliff blends like molto dulche will soon disappear thanks to the draconian deeming.
I have tried quite a few of the Mcclelland aromatics and they are pretty good. Captain Cool, and Best in Show being the two that stand out.
Dan tobacco also has a number of Danish style aromatics that might strike your fancy. Blue Note has always made me smile.
You might also like to try some of the Lakeland blends from Gawith & Hogarth. Bobs chocolate flake is great. Ernnendale flake is an ... interesting ... blend.

I'm with @crapgame and the autumn evening. I really like blending that 50/50 with EITC's Officer's Club.....it's really great. Also I really love H&H Eggnog and now Russ's Thumbprint Cookie.

PA Soft Vanilla is not bad for what it is. Not goopy. PA Cherry Vanilla is also decent for a low-end aro.

Not sure of the brand but I saw a Butter Rum Blend, anyone know if that is a good mellow tasting blend?  Sounds like it would be.

Personally, my favorite aromatic is Scotty's Trout Stream. A friend of mine gave me some stuff called Treasure Chest a couple of days ago to try. That stuff was very very mild, tasted amazing & I pounded that bowl of baccy down something fierce and got absolutely zero tongue bite!

McClelland 3 Cherry.  Not just a room note, you  taste the cherry as well.

@wolf41035, check out Abenaki tobacco (http://www.tobaccoforpipes.com/main.sc).  Its a small shop in New Hampshire run by a lady named Ann.  I think she took over the operation when her husband passed a few years back.  Someone had recommended their sampler pack to me when I first started smoking a pipe.  Their aromatics are the best that I've had by far.  I dont smoke aromatics too often anymore but when the mood strikes me I usually go for their White Mountain Blend or Pipe Dream.  They have a Captain Spice that you may enjoy too.  Its similar to Captain Black but better IMO.
