President George Washington mandated the vaccination of all American troops who had never had smallpox at a time when vaccinations were primitive and often harmful. ….. Washington thus created the first mass, government funded immunization campaign in American history.
This is what I've been saying since this crap started two years ago...infection numbers only create needless panic and policies that address nothing, but do produce irreparable harm to society.
Do we have any quotable resources other than the BabylonBee and Newsmax? How about something from Breitbart…. or Fox News? Let’s vary our sources lest we find ourselves in a bubble….or echo chamber…. Chamber…. Chamber…..
My post is about a direct quote from your lord and savior, Anthony Fauci, that came from ABC News and your buddy, George Stephanopolous...ignore the fact that I got this from Newsmax; jesus christ, do you ever pay attention to anything?
@vtgrad2003 That was a good straight up reporting of the Fauci interview. At the start of the pandemic positivity was the only data to use to prepare for hospitalizations and to justify methods to avoid the worse possible scenarios. Today we have a partially vaccinated population that is unlikely to be hospitalized if they contract the virus. This time last year we were approaching 300K cases per day, now we're approaching a million. ICUs are not seeing 3 times as many patients however break through infections of the staff and the resulting decrease in overall staff is stressing the system. People don't understand numbers in general and statistics in particular and when you compound that with the lack of logical thought any set of numbers can be used to panic the population!
motie, Are you sure your living in your head; your source is the washington post? So much for credibility, right up there with unknown sources nyt and cnn.
Maybe post a Joy Reid or Joy Behar piece on the next one, I mean you might as well have the Liberal rocket scientists at your back. it'd be funnier.
I worked for 18 years as a military public affairs specialist. A big part of my duties was working in media relations so I got to know quite a few big name media personalities. The number one thing I learned before retiring in 1993 was that everyone in the media is bias and has an agenda. This is primarily because the people they work for are bias and have an agenda.
@PappyJoe Plus they preach to the choir! Growing up CBS was liberal, NBC conservative and ABC childish. In general all news outlets start with a similar set of facts and if you stop listening at that point you have a chance to form an opinion, if you accept their opinion that follows you take one more step down their rabbit hole!
@Balisong Which is why I rarely pay attention to network coverage of political issues. I tend to get my national political news from reading coverage from different sources and then deciding which is more believable. Often the facts are somewhere in between the liberal and conservative publications.
I still find local news coverage to be more balanced even though the local coverage tends to be biased at times also.

"RepugliQan" is rather Trumpian.
…… and uncomfortably accurate.
Like the "China virus?" You're point would have been made without using an inflammatory noun, pun intended!
You are correct: Only the Trumpists are allowed to use vile epithets. Sorry if I ruffled their snowflake sensitivities..

History, of course, remembers our first President for forcing immunizations, and thus denying Americans their freedom.
It was not a vaccine as we have today, it was variolation that was used to inoculate the troops.

I’m living in your head. You cannot help but be offensive.
Since Jan. 6, the pro-Trump Internet has descended into infighting over money and followers
Just the phrase "living in your head" is odd, obsessive, narcissistic, and deranged.

Sorry. You are correct. The only trusted sources are Fox News, Newsmax, One America News Network, and Steve Bannon.

Going back a few posts, but I couldn't help myself. 😂

Interesting tactic, who would expect misinformation on a police radio channel!
