@Londy3 I keep trying to figure out why I wasn't issued a "white privilege" card. I came from a poor family in which my dad worked hard but never knew how to manage his money because he only made it through the 2nd grade before quitting school and going to work. (This was in the mid-1920s.) I graduated from high school and with no other prospects, enlisted with a plan of getting out after four years and going to college. It only took me 21-years to finally "get-out".
The Coast Guard didn't issue me a white privilege card either. I don't know of anyone who received a promotion based on the color of their skin while I was in. I did know a few who were given the opportunity to better themselves because of their darker skin color but those were few and far between.
Every thing I have achieved since I retired has been achieved by me working my ass off. We own a house because we worked hard and made smart decisions resulting in both my wife and I earning government retirement/pension checks. We paid all of our taxes on time which enables us to collect Social Security. And, we both learned how to make smarter money decisions. None of that was achieved by some giving us anything based on the color of our skin.
I also know a number of minorities, who have worked hard and have achieved the same if not more than I have. They did it by surviving an inferior school system and either learning to work hard or putting forth the effort to graduate from college. Admittedly, some of them received advantages because of their skin color but that didn't change the fact that they have worked hard to earn what the now have.
@PappyJoe 🤔What the hell were/are they putting in my Capt’n Crunch with Crunch Berries, Boo Berries, and Cocoa Pebbles🤔
Some whiny millennials got them to reduce the sugar in my Nestle Strawberry Quik and color it with freaking beet juice…the bastards. They also added artificial sweetener to a 100+ year old recipe and screwed up my (what use to be) original Wrigley’s Spearmint..A-holes, that is what the “Extra” Wrigley’s was for, those non-sugar eating bastards. They ruin everything.
@PappyJoe Damn, I love those hard little marshmallows. I found a huge bag of just the marshmallows at the dollar store a few years ago…..It took all I had not to buy any…..I still regret not buying any.
@PappyJoe; That made the national news and his family said he had some mental issues. I've often thought how cool it would be to try the same thing. Does that mean I have mental issues?

Shouldn't that be vacuum cleaner cleaner?
Now, I want tacos….hmmm….tomorrow is “Taco Tuesday”😋
You know, one never really knows.
We used to hit a whole roll with a brick.
BIG BANG?
We weren’t quite so “caveman”, we used a hammer😬

Eh, Who wants to be on life support anyway?
None of us are getting out of here alive.
Not even Elvis.
I have the answer!
It was the marshmallows! They use animal byproducts to create the little hard marshmallows in cereal!

Corn is trying, chips, moonshine, hmm 🤔….corn dodgers?
You forgot cornbread.
Yeah, I will give corn a break...corn liquor
I was trying to think of something more akin to a French fry.
