Hell, I couldn't figure out where else to post this link. It's about smoking during WWI and is an interesting read if some of you old codgers can get someone to open the link and read it to you.
Yes these brain washed / dead simps need some life lessons, and if I was walking by a car show room and they were spraying paint on the windows or pouring milk out at the super market there would be some instant karma coming their way.
I just made an investment that has yielded an incredible return. I went to the closest convenience store and filled up my tank, which in turn doubled the value of my Pick up.
Regardless of who's in the White House, it's still pretty cool to see Air Force One fly over my house. This happens quite a bit as Peidmont Triad Airport in Greensboro (about 15 miles away from me as the crow flies) is an auxilliary landing zone for it and DC as the crow flies is only about 250 miles away. I haven't seen it as much under Biden as he still lives in his basement, but under Trump in particular, I was seeing it probably once every couple of weeks.
Yep, it flies really low and really slow over the house a lot. My previous neighbor is the director of air traffic control at PTI and he said the reason they fly around here so much is to practice things like clearing the air space, radio frequency testing (i.e., the Air Force One uses a frequency different from standard aviation), and believe it or not, they actually do touch and go's here. A few years ago I saw the Air Force Two (the vice pres's plane) doing those when I was going down the highway near the airport. This airport is used as an auxilliary airport in case they can't land at Andrew's AFB for some reason, so they practice around here a lot.
@Londy3; Theme for last Presidential Election, let's elect the most worthless, corrupt, brain dead SOB we can find so we don't have to be offended by tweets. Now we get what we deserve.
One of the stations on Direct TV has been showing Gene Audrey TV shows, several in a row. They are great viewing and bring back a lot of memories from my childhood. We didn't have TV when these were first aired. My exposure to Gene was comic books and movies. He was my first cowboy hero, followed by Red Ryder, Hopalong Cassidy, Roy Rogers and The Lone Ranger.I grew up in an incredible era.

Very cool. So, can you actually see it to know? I'm about an hour from you so I probably won't see it.
Very interesting for sure.

We only get what we deserve if we actually wanted a shit-for-brains, lifelong career politician, thief to run the county.
We didn't "vote" for this jackass!
Yes you did sir! Yes you did.
But we still trust this more than our voting system.
