Back when I was selling my music I had a MySpace page and from what I can tell MySpace has become passe and out of fashion. With all the negative press floating around about Face Book and Twitter I wonder how much longer before these two social media giants become as irrelevant as MySpace?
Facebook is not for everyone, but then again neither are forums. My objective in creating the facebook group was to expand the This Pipe Life family to a broader audience. Then reference the threads on TPL in the hopes to get some folks to cross over to the forums. The other day, for instance, there was a question on the FB group about restoring pipes. That only had 9 comments. I posted a link to the forum thread which has over 1.2K comments.
<<For those of you who want to get social but only want to speak to your pipe peers, the private TPL Facebook group is the place for you. Chat with fellow forum members and gain exclusive access to the premiere members-only group for pipe connoisseurs. >>
I deleted my Facebook account 4 years ago...not my thing. I have been in IT for 30 years and I just can't justify advantages vs risk and I don't trust Zuckerberg to keep anything private
