Interesting to find 3 different stem stampings being used on the Bringham pipes. Looks as if 1 stamp is to signify their "system" pipes, but not sure. Just caught my eye and found it interesting
@KA9FFJ I think most, if not all, have the rock maple insert "system". They also use one, two, or three brass dots to signify hierarchy of grade/finish.. There is a Gold encircled B, a Silver encircled B, two Maple Leaves stamped in Gold, probably more. The dots coincide with the shape numbers for the specific line/grade/finish. By the way, the Rock Maple inserts work well, they absorb moisture without zapping flavor.
Tnx @RockyMountainBriar for researching my query. I just thought it "unique" to have all these different stem logos from the same pipe company... Tnx again...
Here’s the deal. We start off with your choice of a Baraccini, Viking, or a Stanwell pipe, the least expensive of which sells for $89.99. Then, you get to choose two tobaccos from a list of 14 great blends. Next, select one of three attractive pipe tools, a tobacco or combo pouch, and a pipe maintenance item. If you opted for the most expensive items in each category, you’d be looking at a retail price of $189.76, but you won’t even pay HALF. You’ll get everything for an astonishingly LOW price of $79.99. That’s ten bucks less than the least expensive pipe in the sampler. The icing on the cake? It all ships FREE! So, order fast and have your fantastic new kit in your hands in time to celebrate on the twentieth. The Build-Your-Own IPSD Combo is the most affordable way to showcase your style!
The Sherlock Holmes series of pipes were, for a long time, unique to the series. The Kinsale Rustics allow you to get some of those shapes at a price that’s less than half of the SH series. They have a dark, craggy rock-like rustication, some models with the legendary P-Lip stem. This week only, $20 off – only $99.99 each.
@RockyMountainBriar I never say anything derogatory toward Burley. I mean, that's what my grandfather grew. I just usually find myself sweetening the crop with some Virginias and/or some nice Cavendish. However, I will say that IMHO, Burley as a stand alone can be very nice when cured and processed to lend what mildness it is capable of delivering. But then again, when it comes to likes and dislikes with tobacco blends, NOBODY'S wrong...🙂

Five Brothers👍🏻 I guess I like burleys🙂

I dunno. There's something amiss with folks who love Mixture 79.........
There are plenty of tobaccos I like better than straight burley👍🏻🙂
For ”arson,” substitute, oh, I dunno...... “Mixture 79.” <giggle>
