@RockyMountainBriar It's tough to keep a positive attitude when the rug gets pulled out from under you. I'm still hoping you either get a better offer(s), or you make swift advancements (pay wise and/or position wise) at your new place of employment. 🤞🏻🙏🏻
@RockyMountainBriar; Reminds me of a line in a Willie Nelson song. "It's hard to keep your try up, when your back is to the floor." Someday you will look back on this experience and say it really did suck. Even though you will get through it and will be stronger for it. Remember, who you are and where you came from and that there are people that you have never met that give a shit about you. Pray. You are in mine.
Same here @RockyMountainBriar This too shall pass. You will be in a much better position soon but you may not see it yet. Trust me it will happen and I too, will pray for you to secure this for you.
Fear, doubt, anger, sadness and worry do not come from God. Don't let this take you. Choose to focus on what is good, healthy, healing, happy, and of course God. Be content, he will do amazing things, just allow Him too.
Bleeding again. Three hours in ER. Wearing another f”n Foley catheter. Welcome to “the bag,” again. Considering my future. After six months on a catheter in 2018, I am not willing to go thru that again.
Prayers and attempts to get me to man-up are invited.
Gordon You are in my prayers for sure. I could use some prayers as well. Chemo now for almost 4 years (and again tomorrow morning). Every 3 weeks. Kicks my butt. I have often had the temptation to just quit but I have never quit anything that was a fight. I cannot be a negative example to my kids, in laws, and 6 grand kids that represents a "quitter attitude". Hang in there my friend. Boot Camp many years ago taught me to "suck it up" and move forward with a positive attitude. The light at the end of the tunnel might be having a nice cold beer somewhere in the central part of New Jersey "toasting" each others fight.
