Surgery weds. Went ok. Five centimeter lesion on bladder, cauterized No cancer, so far, just bad plumbing. Sorry didn’t write sooner. Pain is incredible. Catheter came out at 12:30; going back at 4pm. If I can pee, no more catheter. If not, another Foley. No prognosis undil biopsy report. My disgnosed PTSD is running wild. Don’t care about cancer, just don’twant anothe week on a catheter. It’s nuts, but that’s the PTSD from six months with a catheter in 2018.

I don’t like where this is headed. The treatment plan is to take out the Foley at 7:30 am Tues. II I can’t urinate it goes back in at 4:00pm same day. Wait two or three days and repeat. Over and over.This is the same way six months on a catheter began in 2018. I cannot go through this again. My PTSD sits on my back like a monster..
@ MOTIE IS SELF CATHERTING AN OPTION ?? I HAVE A NEUROPIC BLADDER AND HAVE SELF CATHED FOR APPROX 10 YEARS NOW. I HAD FOLEY CATH AND BAG A COUPLE OF TIMES AND I DID NOT LIKE THAT OPTION EITHER

7:30am catheter removal was painful, but went well. Now I’ve got to produce at least 1,200 ml by 4:00pm today or it goes back in. The PTSD is worse than the actual procedure. Lots worse.
@pwkarch Developing diabetes sucks. Especially when you come down with a cold or the flu and all the over-the-counter medication have a warning to consult your doctor if you have diabetes.

Little weather problem in my little corner of Louisiana this morning. A tornado decided to visit our town and did some serious damage to a few homes and businesses. One of our daughter is still without power but mine came back on around 2:00 pm. Quite a few tree limbs in my yard and they didn’t come from any of our trees.
