Hello Everyone, I’ve been a pipe smoker for about 5 years now. I have a diverse collection of pipes and like to try new tobacco. Looks like a friendly place here.
New here, from the Gold Coast of Michigan,,,, the left side,,, the sunset side....that side that get’s the weird weather,,, where we say. “Don’t like the weather, wait half an hour, it will change.” Entered my Username wrong and am trying to correct it
Was a pipe smoker in the past, back when “The Pipe’ was popular,, smoked cobs, meers,,,, been on cigars for awhile, however, getting back to pipes. Need to relearn much.
While waiting for spring to arrive in Connecticut, I thought I'd give pipes a shot. I've been smoking cigars about 15 years. Any tips about shops in the area would be welcome. I'm near New Haven and have visited the Owl Shop. War Eagle.
Welcome @Ctauburnfan. Glad to have you aboard. I'm not familiar with your area so I cannot offer any suggestions to local brick & mortar shops there. However, for online shops with pipe and tobacco selections, you may want to check out https://www.pipesandcigars.com and https://www.smokingpipes.comas most of use here regularly purchase from these sites.
My name is Lee. I recently (2016-17) came back to the hobby. I have a collection of Freehands, Rhodesian, Bulldogs and the like. Smoking mostly nonaromatics, I enjoy English, Balkans, Virginia's, Vapors etc. PS Best surprise was reacquainting myself with my modest cellar from years ago..For example, SG's St James Flake is not bad at any age but truly sublime with 8 years of aging..😁

I am new to pipe smoking. I tried it a few years ago, but then got out of it until this week.
War Eagle.
