RULES FOR GRUMPY OLD MEN TO LIVE BY
I few years ago I started this list and I thought I would share it with my brothers on TPL.
I'll post one rule a day until I've listed them all. I hope you will add some as well.
#1. Never pass up an opportunity to use the restroom.

Re: What's for Dinner? (Pairing pipe, drinks & dinner)
Pork and dumplings tonight. Same thing as chicken and dumplings but different spices. Can of cream of mushroom soup added.

@Zouave
Maybe there is more to this “Shinola”, and I still don’t know the difference🤔

Re: What are you guys smoking right Now?
Just finished dinner, chicken salad and brussel sprout pancakes, and starting a Rob Roy filled with GLP Kensington.

Re: What are you guys smoking right Now?
Just returned from a 3 day golf trip with the guys (20 of us). We all had a great time, and I was able to get in 4 bowls of Frankenblend in 2 of my 9mm filtered pipes.
Caught up my yard work and relaxing now with some Sutliff honey and chocolate in a refinished Tinderbox pipe.
This pipe was a very dull flat brown when I found it. After sanding it down, I couldn't believe the nice grain that was revealed, so I 2-tone stained it...
As I said, had a great time, but it's always good to be back home...

@RockyMountainBriar I used to work for a store that sold Shinola watches. They were assembled in Detroit with swiss parts. If memory serves they also sold leather goods, and bikes. They all looked pretty cool but were way too expensive for my wallet.
