Re: What's for Dinner? (Pairing pipe, drinks & dinner)
We had a simple dinner, pan seared salmon along with sautéed mushrooms, peppers and onions. Pipe is Drucquer Casbah in a Rob Roy, beverage is Lambrusco wine.

I make a tannin tea using black tea and about a 1/2 oz. of raisins that I chop up. I bring it to a boil and then let it steep for about 15 minutes or until it cools down below 100f.

Re: Best Pipe Aromatic Blends
I tend to pick a tobacco and stick with it, I am way too predictable. I find country squire Rivendell to be a great aero. It hits up front with a lot of coaco. Best of all my wife doesn't complain when I smoke it around her.

Ordered some bulk tobacco yesterday...not realizing that my online retailer would have be offering a 10% discount today in honor of IPSD....
