Re: What are you guys smoking right Now?
Speaking of knees, about 40 years ago I popped my right knee while attempting to downhill ski. The doctor just went in and cut the broken and frayed ends off of my ACL so it wouldn’t get caught in the joint. This was before they had the expertise to replace them like nowadays. A few years later, I was out riding my dirt bike, (with a custom titanium knee brace on my right knee), I took a spill and popped my left knee…I have no idea how much damage was done because I never went to the doctor. My guess is that I have a torn, or partially torn ligament, in it as well? A change in the weather is a biotch.

Holy Shit, Brother. Hard to find an upside. I'll burn a bowl or two for you, but I know that won't help either.

I was walking sideways along a downslope on a fairway Wednesday when I heard my left knee pop. It hurt a little, but not bad, and I easily finished the last 3 holes with very little, to no discomfort.
When I arrived home, I then mowed my yard.
Woke up yesterday and couldn't hardly move my knee without some discomfort to pain!
I've been hobbling around like Chester on Gunsmoke ever since. Bought a knee stabilizing brace and it seems to be working fairly well. But obviously no golf today, and probably all next week. I'm hoping after this short layoff, I'll be back to normalcy..🤞🏻
Meanwhile, doing some Frankenblend in one of my Frankenpipes...

@KA9FFJ;
That sounds exactly like what happened to my left knee in late March. Went to a knee specialist and got a steroid shot in both knees(right knee is arthritic). Worked for several weeks, but the physical therapy helped the most. Riding a stationary bike and stretching seemed to work best for my tired old knees. The good news is I've got plenty of separation in both, so no replacements will be needed.

Yesterday was a hectic and hot day but I managed to smoke four or five bowls.

Re: Political & Social Debate
Like the shenanigans or not, this is still my country! I hope that people realize, before it’s too late, that things should be different. Getting free stuff, handouts, special treatment, etc. is great, but can only last so long. Contrary to some people’s beliefs, we still do not live in a utopia and somebody has to work to feed, clothing, and shelter. Sooner or later, those of us that work and pay our fair share of taxes are going to say F’ It and opt for the “free” government money too. Then where will we all be?
Anecdotally, it seems to me that the percentage of dependent people who are Trumper’s is higher than that are Democrats. I overwhelmingly see it at the pipe shop I work at and yesterday at the pool a couple of vocal Trumper’s were talking about their issues with the their SSDI welfare checks. They looked able enough but I assume a welfare check pays more than their labor is worth.

I still get a chuckle from the teabagger protest days where a group of men were decked out in red, white and blue were interviewed and it turned out all of them were dependent on uncle sugar.
