Re: Let's Talk OTC Tobaccos/Best Of
My first smoke was Penns Pride. I was 14 in my neighbors garage. He called it horse shit and shavings. I smoked it out of a straight Kaywoodie. He was a 70 year old guy that taught me more about wrenching than anyone could. After that pouch he was on Middleton cherry or captain black. He would give me a piece of clove candy so my mother wouldn’t smell it on me. Oh the memories. I graduated to Captain Black royal for years and gave it up until about two years ago. Prince Albert is my go to OTC for sure now.

Re: What is the story behind your user name?
20 some years ago I was vary new to computers and thus new to forums. 1st forum I signed up to they asked for a user mane and I had no idea. My wife had just bought an antique blue and white creamer in the shape of a cow, and it was still on the desk.....so Bluecow. I've just stuck with it

Re: What is the story behind your user name?
Last name is Smith, therefore Smitty. My first job in the Army was medic and people called me Doc Smitty. Once I changed over to transportation, people that knew me continued calling me Doc Smitty and my answer was always, "it's Just Smitty!" Eventually JustSmitty stuck and 76 is my birth year.

Re: New to the forum? Introduce yourself!
Hello, I am in Phoenix, AZ. I’m 68, retired, and have been a pipe smoker for 40 years. I was home visiting my parents, and saw our next door neighbor who was a pipe smoker. During our chat I told him I remembered the aroma of his pipe. He offered me a pipe, pouch, tamper, and some Borkum Riff Cherry. He taught me how to load and smoke a pipe. And to this day, I find smoking a pipe relaxing and a nice way to stop and enjoy life!
