Re: ST. LOUIS PIPE SHOW 2023
Here's my table just before the doors opened Saturday morn. 83 pipes. I should add that my wife makes all my pipe socks, which go with the purchase...

Re: Country Squire
After many years of being acquainted with, and doing some business with, Country Squire, I finally made my pilgrimage to Jackson, MS. I happened to be in Vicksburg, 27 miles away, on business, so had to go by the shop and buy something. $60 later and after a relaxing bowl of Tidewater, one of their Virginia blends, I left without getting to meet JD. He was at a local rodeo selling cigars. But I got to meet Quinn, a young man who was very helpful and friendly. I took a picture or two but can't post them from this computer, so will try to load them up next week.

Re: The Loot! - What's your latest tobacco purchase?
@vtgrad2003
It was drilled spot on, finished great, and only has a couple of really tiny fills.

In today’s loot was a Peterson St. Patrick’s Day 2023 shape 53 Lovat #325/1200.

Re: What are you guys smoking right Now?
Getting the final details together for easy packing for the show this Saturday.
Taking a break with some Tinderbox After Dinner in a noname reworked pipe.
When it came time to restain, I did a 2-toned stain and I'm glad I did...

Re: Good and Welfare
Just got home from an appointment with me surgeon to take the super glued tape(or whatever it is) off. He said I'm looking good but it will be around April before I'm totally healed, but I can drive in another month. Me thinks, if I can drive I can have a bit of the Irish and a bowl. So that's the plan, God willing.

Re: Defensive and Everyday Carry
@opipeman
I would like a Flintlock Late Lancaster Pennsylvania Rifle with a .50 caliber 36”-42” swamped barrel, full german silver hardware including a fancy metal patchbox and stock inlays, high grade curly maple stock with some nice engraving on the wood. Maybe someday….when I quit buying pipes, tobacco, cigars, airguns, knives, modern firearms, tools……
