I'm going to be hit and miss for a while here on the blog. Bought a new house (downsizing) and closing at the end of this month.
So between prepping for the move, getting my old house in order to show and actually moving in to the "new" house, I'm going to be too preoccupied to give as much attention to TPL as I normally do. 
So with my periodic absence, remember, "the rumors of my death are greatly exaggerated".😏
Meanwhile, I'm doing some LL-7 in a restemmed and reworked Tom Spano...

I've been hitting Golden Sliced hard all week.

Last night was good for a bowl of Dunhill Apertif in my 99-year old Dunhill Bruyere. 

Watching a thunderstorm roll through while doing some Sutliff Honey and Chocolate in a churchwarden...

I’m having a hot cup-a-joe with some 10+ year old Erinmore Mixture in a Pete 03.  Soon, I’m headed over to see my mom today for her 84th Birthday, which is tomorrow🎂

I posted photos from the local B&M last night in the wrong place so I will post them again.
It's been almost five years since they shelves have been stocked this good. The two long time manager/workers were basically fired when the shop closed down because of the pandemic. The people hired after the shop reopened only knew cigars and hated dealing with pipes and pipe tobacco. New people were hired last year and they started working on accommodating pipe smokers.

We had 12 members at our pipe club meeting last night and two pipe smokers not in the club (they were invited to the next meeting) were sitting in the front of the shop when I left. 


The shelf on the right had a number of Sutliff blends (above the Rattray's) but some of that was sold by the night end. 
I didn't buy any Sutliff, but I did buy two tins of Cult Blood Red Moon and a tin of C&D Afternoon Delight.

Enjoying some Country Squire Picayune Pancake this morning while cooking some maple sap down to syrup. Hopefully getting done just before the 10” of snow comes tonight.
