Today I am smoking that very pipe🙂. I have it loaded with a hodgepodge of tobaccos, my 2016 Homegrown/C&D Espresso/Sutliff Irish Coffee/and something I didn’t label in one of my pocket jars? (Not an aromatic, may even have a bit of Latakia😳). It’s not Ireland, or even near Christmas, but today, in Billings, my front porch is a beautiful 83F, 33% humidity, with a light 10-30mph breeze….I have my Guinness and that exact, awesome, Foundation by Musico pipe. It’s said, “Good things come to those who wait”🙂
This morning, it’s another beautiful day here in Big Sky Country. I have my latte/flat white made with my own lightly roasted Yirgacheffe beans, and a Comoy’s Grand Slam #156 loaded with some C&D “Espresso” to start off the day.
Finally a small break in the weather. Heat advisories and no rain for over a week had left me with putting off my pipe smoking...🥵 Got to 103° earlier today, but a front has moved through carrying rain and a 20° drop in temp. Sooo... taking advantage and enjoying some Creme Brulee in my LOTR pipe while listening to the thunder...
Enjoying the reprieve from the nasty heat and humidity this morning whilst smoking Peterson Flake and daydreaming about our trip to Scotland in October.
I made it to the New Orleans Pipe Club meeting last night. It was good. Bought a tin of C&D Midnight Drive. It isn't for everyone because it contains "bright Virginias, Perique, a touch of Latakia and a hint of Turkish orientals" but it isn't a bad smoke. Tobacco Reviews list it as a Scottish Blend. I probably won't buy a second tin because it just doesn't make me want to buy more of it.
Presently 97° with a real feel of 109°! With a fan, I'm doing some C&D Dark Cherry Cavendish in an estate acquired and restemmed meer Sultan. Starting to tan nicely...
Ok, so I hauled out my jar of CBRM to give it another try. This jar is at least 8 years old, and I had opened it and smoked a bowl some 4-5 years ago? Today, the jar note is mostly Cocoa and a much, much lighter Cherry, almost nil, with a tinge of vinegar. It has dried out and melded some, but it is still moist. Lit, it is still reminiscent of sharp, chemical, wax, cherry, urinal puck aroma, but not nearly as pronounced as when it was fresh. It is definitely a better smoke (for me) now, although I’m not going to grab another tin. I’m glad I picked a cob, and not one of my favorite ones either. The pipe smokes ok, but the pointy bottom sucks. I got it to sit still on my ashtray though, kinda like a 1st grader at school picture time.
Smoking some KBV “White Peach Tea” in one of my Radice Silkcuts this evening. This tobacco tastes nothing like Peach or Tea, and bites like a piranha. I won’t be buying any of this Merde De Cheval anytime soon.

A Dublin/Lovat, Lovat/Dublin - “Dublot”? “Lovlin”? 🙂
Smoking Pipes called it a Bent Dublin.

Nice looking pipe.

If I knew 12 pipe smokers, I'd start a club. I don't know any, so it ain't going to happen.
Love that pipe.
Want me to start a list 🙂.
Thank ye, but no. I have too many pipes. That and there is no way I'll out live you.

Ok, but never say “no way”, I might be dead tomorrow, who knows?
That was the second bowl of the blend I've tried. Haven't decided what I think about it yet.
Relaxing with some Lane RLP-6 in a restemmed Calabrest...
In this case the age on the CBRM improved it markedly for me.

Beautiful pipe!
I agree with @riobrusa. That is a beautiful pipe. I still don't want you to start a list, no matter how much you tempt me.
Armed and dangerous.
